Me neither, but if someone had said that certain fans, would receive threats  and intimidating phone calls, from someone who was very influential, at the club, in the early days of the new ownership, I would not have believed that either, but hey ho.

Of course there are good people working at Rovers (my own brother in law for one, who’s just left by the way as it’s a horrendously run organisation, so he’s got himself a much more stable job where he feels valued).

We are talking about the regime executive leadership, obviously.

That's no surprise and hence the veiled threats we now see.

We seem to have come full circle on this now. They fight back in civil meetings and find us out, so let's resort to threats.

Yes the club deserves lots of credit for hastily arranging an overseas game on the basis home fans are allowed in to watch but away fans are banned (for no good reason) but at least Rovers announced 30 minutes before kick off that we could watch it on YouTube.

Brilliant that.

I did say a few days before hand I thought the game would be live streamed on YouTube.

On why fans weren't allowed, that was linked to trouble in a friendly 2012 Blackburn Rovers won't rule out supporter action after cancelled friendly - Sports Mole

Who come we have played this weekend, alot of PL teams overseas so who could we play instead?

A few other Championship clubs played foreign sides at home.

No problem with who and where we played. A big problem with the seemingly amateurish preperation and travel simply ill fitting of a supposed Championship side. If true, of course.

As a one off, it could be forgiven, but it isn't and some of the things that go on, are quite frankly embarrassing.

Does anyone believe for example that the way the club have marketed our 150th anniversary is acceptable?

I'll ask again - why was the game only announced less than 2 weeks ago after having a blank weekend in the diary for months?

And more importantly why are Rovers agreeing to / arranging a game - the final friendly before the season starts in our 150th anniversary season - not behind closed doors but open to home fans and closed to away fans?

If I was running Rovers and Nijmegen or their local authorities started coming with that sort of stuff I would have told them to 'do one' and found someone else to play who was willing to accommodate both home and away fans.

I went to Holland in 2012 and whatever 'trouble' there was blown out of all proportion and there was very little evidence of any trouble or risk of it. Why that means 13 years later a hundred or so people couldn't go to watch a friendly I'm not sure.

Still waiting to hear how social media videos with the players and streams of friendlies on YouTube shows any kind of comms improvement/is something to praise a Championship club for?

Another question you need to be asking Rovers instead of posting on here email and seek the answers you want to your question.

Rumours were Waggott was lining up a home friendly before his departure, who against I don't or what ever happened I don't.

Does this mean we can't try and get #VenkysOut trending on X anymore?

Who knows.

It won't stop me posting what I do and if they think they can ban me for calling them out for the way they are damaging the club, I have supported through thick and thin for 55 years, they are wrong.

But you are forgetting that Chaddy predicted the game would be streamed. That’s what makes the difference here. Obviously.

Please edit, you've been a supporter for longer than 5 years 🏆

With a bit of luck they’ll give me a stadium ban. That would be a real touch.

Since I've banned myself for the last 15 years I'm interested to see how they will impose such a penalty against me.

As the person who has been writing up the Forum minutes for a long time I would be interested in knowing where it has been reported that the minutes are not an accurate account?

This is what happens - I come home and write the minutes as best I can. Then they go to the club and some changes are made. Often these are very minor changes, sometimes more information might be added. Whilst occasionally I and the Chair might go back regarding these changes nearly always we are happy with the end result. It's important to note here that we may very well not be happy with what was said, but we are happy with the factual accuracy of what we were told.

What the minutes can never be is a verbatim record of everything that everyone says during the meetings. That would be unreadable and provide no more clarity. What I think does happen is that the words on the minutes do not and I don't think can ever convey the full understanding of the level of debate. They are minutes, not a drama.

Finally in the past we have sometimes been told some confidential things that I am not allowed to minute. John Williams in particular did it all the time. There was none of that last night.

As the person who writes the so called  minutes for the FF, do the club NOT approve the real minutes that got taken and you had to adjust rather than the let's not rock the boat minutes as previous? Where are they 3 weeks on from the meeting, how coincidental it is that I called you out prior to this meeting and now there's a problem 🤔

It’s obvious that the new attendees this time, are not prepared to accept, the club friendly version and fair play to them.

The root cause of the delays are due to O2G writing false minutes (standard practice) and then being pulled ujp on them, by fans with far more concern for the wellbeing of the club.

O2G out.

Maybe these minutes from previous meetings now need to be revisited. If false minutes have been standard practice, an explanation needs to be made.
Why has this been allowed to happen?

This is laughably wide of the mark.

Have a word with yourself, FFS.

Writing minutes in a meeting with so much going on aint easy, so very unfair to take it out on O2G. He did the minutes, they were asked to be amended, he's obliged by sending the edited ones for approval.

They are sat with the club,

Taking lumps out of each other is exactly what the club would like to see.

To add, the flaw in the ff system is the original minutes go to the club for approval prior to being circulated to the FF attendees, with the intention they are on website within 48 hours of club approval.

This needs to change, having no input into the minutes or agreement of the accuracy of minutes prior to going to the club has created this indigestion

Its the process which is broken, not the people
