Haven’t noticed McLoughlin much whenever I’ve seen Hull play, but it’s obvious that he’s not our first choice. 

 

It was a shame at the time - the wrong move for him professionally (yes I know his bank manager and agent would have been thrilled).

Makes no sense to him tomorrow, just as I hold no grudge against him for not playing a friendly last week. Competitive game, can understand more, but doesnt benefit either us or him to play him if hes not staying. Give Alebiosu some minutes instead.

Brittain will be a huge loss and depressingly to a team that we are supposedly fighting with, and another who finished below us.

Why have Boro waiting a week before putting another bid in if that is true they are?

Seems like a sensible signing to me. We've signed a few that aren't familiar with the Championship and, like Ohashi and Gueye, could take a bit of time to get used to the intensity. McLoughlin shouldn't need that. Seems like a shrewd signing for £500k.

Manager doesn't fancy him is what I've read.

Initial story broke this morning so just a reposted link. Since then there's been a few other reports saying another bid will be coming in. The player wants to leave so I think we're all confident he's going, it's best for all parties.

FFS, Its 3 talent players, one being 3rd choice keeper, Montgomery has right back/midfielder and Tyjon has a option as number 10 or striker. 

You don't want to assume anything given like our young talent players time for Rovers. If we don't create a pathway for Tyjon then he would have gone to Arsenal already.

3 keepers, 2 right back, 4/5 centre back, 2 left back, 2 right wingers, 4/5 centre midfielders, 2 left wingers, 2 number 10 and 3 strikers. Around 25 players in the squad

I find it interesting that this is precisely what happened with JDT and Adam Wharton - he got his opportunity when it arose during the season after impressing in the cup, seized it and never looked back. It was a natural process - he was clearly good enough and his transition into the first team was handled well by the coaching staff. 

This obsession however with 'creating a pathway' - the purpose of Blackburn Rovers and the nature of the Championship beast is not to 'create pathways' for youngsters - it is to win games and try to be successful AS A CLUB, not for individuals and their transfer values or so Venky stooges can be congratulated on future sales. 

Well if first team players are blocking our talent young players then they won't be in the first team squad. 

On Wharton, JDT have space within his first team setup for Adam Wharton hence why we only had 3 first team options in Travis, Buckley and Morton on loan. Something you overlook here. JDT always said he was here to develop players and improve them here.

Doesn't strike me as an Ismael type.

He likes tall, big, strong, athletic types.

Mumba is only 5'5 although is very quick.
