Please tell me we’ve not sold a centre half when we’ve one who’s going to be out for the next 3 games and clearly hasn’t got a brain cell, one who’s half a leg left and one who’s actually a right back? Oh and Hayden Carter who’ll play probably less than 15 games all year? Or am I dreaming?

In my humble opinion Castore are dreadful shirts, cheap looking.  Shirt sales will fall off the cliff.

The rumour on Saturday was that the contract was cancelled because of poor quality so in true rovers logic we go from bad to worse.

What is going on with Elliot Jackson for Christ sake!?

His last update came an hour ago saying the Harry deal was in doubt. The club confirmed Harry had been sold about 5 mins later and now absolute radio silence on his ‘live feed’.

Probably just realised that what his 'sources' at the club say and what actually happens are often the opposite and that he's been played for a fool just like everyone else involved with this operation.

Apparently he’s decent at league one level. If we get that buy option locked in then it’ll show shrewd planning in advance by Pasha and Rudy.

Ah, some classic forward thinking by the Rovers Brain Trust. No need to spend any money next season if we've already signed a team ready for League One.

What have Rovers fans done to deserve this.

Heartbreaking.

Many do deserve it, unfortunately. Outside of this sanctuary our fanbase seems to be filled with lemmings who just swallow the bullshit the club puts out.

It’s sickening. It feels like you’re repeatedly banging your head against a brick wall.

Hope the Hyam deal hasn’t gone through

if it has and we have no back up, what the actual fuck are our board and recruitment team thinking? 2 injury prone centre halves, one out suspended … but it’ll get minutes into the youth lads legs

Someone's going to have to explain this to me.

So we've explained perfectly to the FF how the deal SHOULD work but have then gone out and done the exact opposite?

How is that even possible?

Rovers will also need the money to pay for the legal action against them re the shirt contract.

Can we get a separate thread going and will it be on (cc)TV?

Guehi deal called off because Palace couldn’t find a replacement

So where’s the replacement for Hyam?

My WhatsApp inbox tells me that we had a kit deal sorted with Adidas including a refurb of the club shop (perhaps a waste of time when Rovers discourage footfall), a players boot deal along with Rovers Spezial trainers and a part of the 2026 Spezial FC range.

What the insider tells me is that he believes there are two breach of contract claims.  This may of course be a complete tosh.  I am just passing on info received.

Castore have a history of putting club badges on upside down, kits tearing easily and putting tags on with another clubs badge on, so it doesn't surprise me if we have a signed a deal with them.

I know numbers don't always tell the whole story, but if Hyam does go, here's some stats.

Of the 8 players that will have been moved on, between them they made 223 starts last season, 219 of those were full 90 minute appearances (meaning those 8 averaged 28 full games each).

3 of our top 5 appearance makers are gone, It also leaves out Aynsley Pears, who sits second for minutes and appearances; include him in the exiled list and that becomes 4 of our top 5.

I've excluded all loanees from the list too.

That is nothing short of a catastrophic loss of experience and continuity.

No amount of lipstick can hide that.

So we're selling our primary cb because basically 'the offer was too good to turn down' but there's no sign a replacement has been lined up and the only player we are strongly being linked to is yet another right back (that seems almost identical to lewis miller)

that about sum things up?

How is the regime going to paint Hyam as the villain of this sordid affair?

They pulled it off to perfection with Travis.....but pushing their luck expecting people to believe that sort of thing twice in a couple of weeks

Even Waggott could see the writing on the wall - announcing to the public in 2023, before a ball had been kicked, that his target was survival (despite finishing 7th and an FA Cup quarter final the season before).

Two years on and they've worked damn hard to get us here. That squad was far too good to deliver relegation and the annoying interventions of JDT and Eustace derailed the operation. Fortunately both were forced out of here so that staff more receptive to the plan could be brought in.

What we are now seeing is the culmination of a 2-3 year plan, orchestrated by the owners and delivered by their underling(s).

Time and time again we are swimming against the tide with these owners dragging the club backwards every way it can. Still some can't see it. They deserve Venkys and what is coming next.

Don't do the blaming the fans thing, it's embarrassing.
