When I was told about that around the time Waggott left, I was told it was a verbal agreement between Rovers (Waggott) and Adidas/Gary Aspen himself.

When Rovers (I would guess Pasha?) kaboshed it, I supposed it broke the proverbial straw with Waggott because he resigned about 2 weeks later.

SW left because the final straw was he was not prepared to take the bullets for someone else’s decision to drop the Women’s team into oblivion.

They will announce Hickman deal alongside or after the hyam announcement thinking it will take the edge off what they have actually done

then we won’t hear from the puppet masters for 2/3 weeks

and then they will come out with the usual nonsense of ‘let’s get behind these new players’ ‘it’s a new era at the club’ bla bla I doubt any media will give them any grilling at all

So that’s 9pm ? We should know by now-

if we have sold him this makes ‘venkys ‘sense- sell all our best players and buy cheaper players on *even less* wages

Reliably informed there's no hiccups in the Dom Hyam deal but might be a little wait for official confirmation. But all going through.

Arguably been our best defender bar that moment of madness

Hate that he types that update as if we should all be happy that we didn't c*ck up the sale of one of our key players without bringing in a replacement...

So guess we are now less appealing than Wrexham. Mind we brushed them aside with ease a few years back in the cup, how the tables can turn rapidly in football

Certain they are offering higher wages than us. The club has been eroding for 10 years, they’ve been on the ascendancy for 4 years.

Have a feeling the atmosphere at ewood will be more than simmering very soon… it’s gonna be painful for VI, Pasha and Gestede after this window

well done chaps… core team dismantled

I know its part of his gig and he’s essentially a Rovers yes-man, but surely to fuck he ought to be the voice of the supporters and ask what the bloody thinking behind this one was.

In my humble opinion Castore are dreadful shirts, cheap looking.  Shirt sales will fall off the cliff.

We’ll be in Umbro though if that’s the brand they are pushing…not sure if they’re made in the same factory mind you 😆

Absolute madness what Pasha and Gestede have done.

Honestly it's like Gestede did all his training playing Football Manager. Flogged all his high earners and thinks he's picked up some bargains on the continent.

Unfortunately, this is real life and we're now screwed. Not content with just doing it as a player, he's followed it up with a doozy.

It really does feel like if somebody whose only experience was Football Manager was given full control of the transfer strategy. Unfortunately in real life you can't download a tactic that breaks the game engine.

Be more painful for us watching us get whalloped all over and paying for the privilege. They don’t care, they’ll still get 15k a month in their bank from rovers, which is all they care about
