only2garners Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I think I can allow myself a small non-controversial leak from Monday's Fans Forum. The away shirt is planned to be launched on Friday. Rovers will wear it in Saturday's game as Everton have asked if they can use their home shirt, as it's so far the only one they have launched. Quote

Lancaster Rover Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago If that's the shirt I'd put it in with the others as being 'fine', an all yellow shirt with black piping isn't one to get the pulses racing for me. Contrasting arms, a couple of strips down the sides like the 92/93 3rd shirt would be much more interesting Quote

If that's right, that's absolutely horrible, reminds me more of a Burnley away kit from years gone by. Burnt yellow and claret, what possible connection does that have to us? No proper badge on this one either seemingly. They've truly outcome themselves with the shitness of the kits this year. In a major anniversary year as well. 1 Quote
Feed the Yak Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Ah man didn't spot the claret thought it was black. Jeez... Quote

We should have told Everton to get lost and we could debuted the away kit in Spain, maybe even as a acknowledgement to those fans who've spent money or bodged existing holidays to go out there and see us we could have given them an exclusive pre-sale either in advance or on the day (if that's legal!). Instead we'll have a different 'Blues' on our home patch whilst our iconic home kit, worn by us at Ewood for just the laat 135 years languishes in a draw somewhere in the dressing room. Everton's lack of planning is not Rovers's concern, and we certainly shouldn't have made such an obvious concession to them accordingly. Watch us forget to turn off Come On You Blues on the screen on Saturday... 1 Quote
GHD Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Nothing to stop Everton playing in last seasons away kit. Mind we still wouldn’t be playing in a proper Rovers shirt if we played in this seasons home kit Edited 12 hours ago by GHD Quote

JHRover Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago So effectively we are going to be the away side at the weekend with Everton comfortably outnumbering Rovers fans and us agreeing to wear our away strip to accommodate their desire to wear their home strip. It really does show where we are at doesn't it? Add to that now suspicions of claret on the away shirt and the total lack of any effort to commemorate our 150th anniversary in any of the 3 shirts (not even getting the halves right on the home strip). Dear me. 6 Quote
dingles staying down 4ever Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago So our away kits are Macron's prototypes for Plymouth and Wolves. All I can say is that its no wonder that Macron didnt get the contracts! Quote
