We had a halved away kit 2 seasons ago didn't we? Quote

chaddyrovers Posted July 19 Posted July 19 or we could have Yellow kit as we had before. I bought the away shirt, looks much better in person, quality and its very different to previous away shirts Quote

Ive seen it and I think it’s absolutely hideous, but the lad who had it on loved it. Marketing-wise, that’s probably better than being a 6/10 with everyone Quote

Much improvement there and good to see Quote
Forever Blue Posted July 19 Posted July 19 Away kit is starting to remind me of an Arsenal away kit. 3 cracking kits tho…might get the green one Quote
barry_ Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I've worn this twice/washed 20c/no conditioner. The badge is already peeling off and will need redoing at the club shop. Disappointing. Quote

Disappointing. That's either the poor quality of the badge or it wasn't cooked enough when they put it on. Not the actual shirt quality to blame here. 1 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted Thursday at 17:13 Author Posted Thursday at 17:13 I note there is a flag competition on X at least - vote for a huge flag to display in the BE - I went for B. Quote
GHR Posted Thursday at 17:19 Posted Thursday at 17:19 Link A or bust for me. The only one aside from B that is unmistakably ours (anyone can say Pride Of... or similar) and I abhor the way the bastards we have at the minute try and hide behind Uncle Jack. They shouldn't be afforded such grace. Quote
JHRover Posted Thursday at 17:23 Posted Thursday at 17:23 Deary me But at least "we listen to fans" Quote
Mattyblue Posted Thursday at 17:30 Posted Thursday at 17:30 (edited) Be great across the pretty full Blackburn End - oh yeah, that’s right, they hiked up prices and have done their best to thin it out… they’ll have to use the stewards to stop it falling between the empty rows. JHRover Posted Thursday at 17:41 Posted Thursday at 17:41 The 'Pride of Lancashire' stuff is very PNE to me. Sort of thing they'd roll out Nor should 'pride' be mentioned anywhere near Ewood these days. A sick joke. 1 Quote
Ossydave Posted Thursday at 18:17 Posted Thursday at 18:17 F is a blatant rip off of a fan flag, not sure if they're on here 😳 A or B, the only problem with B is its not the club Jack loved anymore so it feels a bit wrong 😪 1 Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted Thursday at 19:09 Author Posted Thursday at 19:09 Strong message to the owners what a real owner looks like - B. 1 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted Thursday at 19:33 Posted Thursday at 19:33 The only one it can be is B. We're no longer the pride of East Lancs let alone Lancashire and the way the Club is run and interacts now bears no resemblance to the 135 years before they arrived. 3 Quote
chaddyrovers Posted Thursday at 20:51 Posted Thursday at 20:51 We are still the pride of Lancashire but had to be B 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted Friday at 07:28 Posted Friday at 07:28 One set of lads fresh from Heaton Park put in on a flag and now the club’s trying to co-opt it. Very cringe. 1 Quote

Mike Graham Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 3 months today is the 150th anniversary of the formation of Blackburn Rovers at the St Leger Hotel in town. We should be brimming with excitement and anticipation at this momentous year - yes we should be celebrating the year of our founding not just the day. What do Rovers have planned: - the new much vaunted Rovers museum is to be a few glass display cases to show off the contents on ground tours. - we are to get a 150th Anniversary book but the COO, against the advice of the now departed CEO, wants to have an introduction by the owners which will result in fewer sales. I hope he sees sense. - supporters have formally asked for a Blue Plaque at the site of the St Leger Hotel; WATR even gained permission from the site owners but the Club and council are reluctant as “they get stolen”. Why not think outside of the box and put the plaque a a bit higher and sell plastic replicas in the Club shop? - I am told that the post match fireworks for the game v Derby were booked but have been cancelled due to the cost. - what will be the ticket prices for the Derby game? Will they pitch them at Cat A to ‘milk’ the fans again or will they try and do an offer to entice fans to return. I do worry as to what route the management (sic) will take. - nothing more has been heard of the plans for 3 house gable ends to be painted with scenes celebrating 150 years. - there is a rumour doing the rounds in East Lancashire that Rovers are to order a new TIFO will the images of our illustrious owners. 150 years (sorry 135 years) of a proud Blackburn Rovers deserves celebrating. I worry that it will be a damp squib. Perhaps we should use the Derby game as an opportunity to make our views heard. 2 Quote

That game is our remembrance game for our fallen hero's, something completely lost on the club. I believe the 150 celebrations in the main have been diluted as much as possible so they dont have to spend any money in marking the achievement. Cheap and cheerful and milk the supporters where possible, 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Ah well. The 175th Anniversary at the Anchor Ground might have a few fireworks set off from the car park. Quote
