I don't think we have been worse (caveat - I did miss the first 30 minutes). Looks like an even game, we just haven't had penetration. Neither have WBA really, they've mostly just launched it from distance while I've been watching. Their goal should have been disallowed (I do get how the ref missed it though) and we should have had a penalty,  so could have been 1 nil to us at half time. The Championship referee lottery will continue this year.

First 30 mins they had 7 shots we had had 0. 

I don't know, it's early days but I don't like the look of this team. Feels like a relegation side. You can only downgrade for so long before the bottom falls out, and I think we might be there. 

At the very least we need Cantwell back asap and we need him to perform. There's going to be a lot on his shoulders this season.

Well at least the snake crew will be happy, as Derby lost 3-1.

One shot on target in 100 minutes. Kargbo only got a limited time, in which he caused panic, Miller should be straight in and get Hedges out. 

Reasons to feel optimistic: few and far between beyond getting the above into the line up, immediately.

Did OK second half but never once looked like scoring.

FT. Not a bad effort the last 90+ minutes, but we can do this all season… concede early, then have basically one shot on goal.

Definitely agree with RW and striker needed. Centre mid really depends if Travis and Tronsdat stay or not - if they don't would be really worried

The Ribeiro free kick after the red? Because that was a terrible spot to shoot from unless you're a free kick specialist. We don't have any of those. The cross was the right call.

The black hole at RW showed up big time there.

Hedges was absolutely fucking awful.

Need a new starter there before the next league game.

Two new RBs and new CB didn't look out of place. DeNeve out in some nice crosses and Henriksson has trained once with us so I refuse to judge him yet.

Wish Kargbo could last 90 mins - like Gueye he just makes things happen when he's on the pitch.

A major lack of goals due to a lack of serious spending will cost us big time.
