Awful, awful, awful.

No one can be surprised given our transfer window dealings - in my view, simply disastrous.

IMO, the 'mood music' around the club stinks.

Spoke with a number of longstanding Roverites following yesterday's game and I would say levels of apathy and disdain are at an all time high.

IMO, our club is dying and unless the likes of @glen9mullanand co can quickly pull a rabbit or two out of the hat then we are finished.

I’d say we are several hundred into the death of a thousand cuts…

Tavares looked miles off it yesterday as did Pickering.

What really grates with me is that last week there were two under 21 games and not one of the first team squad (who haven't had much game time) featured at all. If it was in Ismael's mind to start with Pickering then surely he should have at least got some competitive game time under his belt.

Pickering's looked off it for about 5 years so was never going to be a step up on Ribiero yesterday. Think that will be the same whenever you throw him in.

I know it's down to Ismael's thinking but in my view his rationale is flawed.

Some of the best centre back pairings I have seen at Rovers haven't been a left/right foot combination. Faz and Keeley, Nelson and Samba and Hyam and Baath. Ismael will use inverted wingers but at centre half he wants something different.

His logic is really flawed and contributed to our defeat yesterday in my view. It comes across as 'I know best' arrogance.

I agree somewhere but I can understand you would like right foot and left foot at centre back ideally.

Maybe during the first half we could have gone 3 at back and match us with them

Tavares is the most casual limp disinterested player iv'e seen here in a long while and that's saying something.

Piss poor. as is the head coach keep trying to get a tune out of him and dragging the team down even more seemingly trying to justify his signing.

He clearly isn't suited to what they want him to do.

After watching about 20 mins of Travis yesterday for Derby this lad is as big a downgrade as you can get.

Ismael could be instructed to get Taveres as minutes as possible.

Like the guy who is injured, club propaganda working overtime!

From what I have seen  both of those signings are very strange..

But some will believe both are better than Travis!

In an ideal world yes but football doesn't call into that category. The best managers can make the most of their resources but yesterday Ismael didn't and it contributed to the defeat. Whilst Carter is injured does that mean that Miller will start every game as our only right footed centre half?

In my view it's cosmetic and illogical when it is to the detriment of the team.

That's exactly what he's doing and although they are very different types of players i'm still yet to see a lot that tells me he is even an actual better footballer than the limited Travis.

to answer your question, I guess so.

I was in favour of another right footed centre back signing in case of this.

Ideally youd have one left footer and one right footer.

But its not ideal to sell our only right footed centre back capable of playing more than 1 match without his body breaking down.

We have 2 right backs, and one of them is having to play at centre back, so now the other is injured, the mess we see of a disjojnted defence with players out of position is upon us even earlier than we could have predicted.

Tavares does not deserve a shirt.  Absolutely no Labore with his little amount of Arte.  I am also becoming irritated with Cantwell shitting out of 50-50's and one or two others are guilty the same.  Looking at the fixtures if we do not get 3 points against the Swans then I do not see where the points are coming from for quite some time after that game we have some very difficult and tricky fixtures.  Some teams that have started slow but were expected to do well are in the near future and it is quite possible they find form before playing us.  If they do not we will surely fix that, it's what we do, cure what ever is ailing the other team.  Damn what a turgid showing yesterday, so disappointed.

I have started thinking that way again.  If Gestede can ship out players who were good for us.and replace with dross just how much influence might he have on who steps on the pitch.

PS How is Baradji.coming along man what a fishy signing.

I have a bad gut feeling we will be rock bottom come bonfire night.
