TugaysMarlboro Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I fear Cantwell will start sulking soon. He's looked good and dug in so far this season, but he's been a bit petulant past couple of games. It's when the chips are down, you need your best players to drag the team forward. Although he's not got a lot to work with. 3 Quote
booth Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Two players who could have put a cross in there. We lose the ball, goal kick. 1 Quote
London blue Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I don't blame Cantwell. Akin to being asked to bail out a ship with a spoon. 5 Quote

Exiled sneered at me on Wednesday for saying I couldnt see any hope because imo there's just no-one in the team you can turn to for a bit of inspiration. If he's saying a major difference is Eustace v Ismael though Id have a lot of sympathy for that viewpoint. Quote

Firstly I didn't say superior. Secondly, I'm very happy to question your football knowledge too. Hyam and Travis are Championship plodders. Quote

London blue Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Tavares and Miller are demonstrably worse than both. No-one is saying we were amazing. We're definitely much worse now though. 1 Quote

A good manager at this level is worth their weight in gold - we had something with JDT and Eustace. Gestede is clearly quite poor - but he's also not going anywhere because they've given him a long contract. Quote

Ripping out the spine of a fairly solid championship side and replacing them with cheaper, inferior players was only ever going to go one way. 3 Quote
B16Rover Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Just think, we've the Johansen last minute wonder save yet to come to really sink the dagger in 1 Quote

Miller just isn't a replacement currently. Regardless of how good he'll be in the future. I disagree regarding TGH. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 4 Backroom Posted October 4 15 minutes left against Stoke at home and they are keeping the ball under little pressure with Ole’s from their fans, Jesus wept Quote

Fact is, we’ve sold players and replaced them with inferior ones. We’ve also done that in the dugout, as you’ve rightly spotted. Maybe there’s hope for your football knowledge yet 😀. Quote
Valconite Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Ah I see we are losing and in the bottom three. Not really been following much this season but this seasons record is shocking. Be a miracle to avoid relegation this season. Any other club would have sacked this fraud of a manager by now but they don't have absent negligent owners, Pasha or Gestede. Back to enjoying my weekend and not thinking of Rovers. Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted October 4 Posted October 4 At least De Neve has pace and works his socks off. Good save from their GK and then Tronstad should be doing better from there. Quote

TGH is not vaguely in the same League as Travis and (imo) as I've always said we're seeing how good Tronstad really is now without Travis alongside him to do all the donkey work. 1 Quote

booth Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I could see something with JDT when we weren't playing well, I blamed the players. Same with Eustace. I rarely criticised them as they clearly weren't backed. VI however... Fucking hell we're plumbing the depths here. Quote
London blue Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Let's play a game in lieu of our team playing theirs. Where are our next points coming from? Early December again Oxford at home or is that a touch optimistic? Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Alebiousu is absolutely goosed. That was a lovely ball from Tronstad and he just jogged after it. Quote
