Would you taken a point at 80 mins with being 1 nil down?

like I have previously, some players will settle quicker than other. Gudjohnsen has been here around a month. Tronstad took a couple of months despite him previously played in England for Huddersfield and spent 2 years here in the UK. Look at De Neve who didn't look good 2 months ago but today he did look good

Well, we have to disagree here.

Its been a start that many of us are unhappy but given the overhaul of the squad is that surprising? probably not

most of us are unhappy because the overhaul has consisted of a lot of crap players and one who we won`t see till after christmas, pne have overhauled their squad and signed players who are used to english football and are quite good, they`ve spent less than us as well

We stop the losses and came from behind to get a point. Take the positive and can now build on it. Its a shame we ger stupid international football back again. FFS.

We created some good chances today.

People are saying what they saw Chaddy. Not what they wanted to see or ignoring the parts they didn’t want to see.

Can't knock the squad for pace, this is probably the most athletic squad since Hughes.  The issue is what they do immediately after the pace stops

That starting eleven today is one of the slowest I've ever seen. Alebiosu aside - all of them are slow. Cantwell looking for runners from Gudjohnsen, Moreshita and Hedges. Looked much better when Kargbo and De Neve came on, but that starting eleven had no pace going forward.

Correct. This is not a squad with pace. (You can add De Neve to that short list)

I was there Den watching the game with my own eyes and voicing my own opinion based on what I saw including the weather conditions at Rovers and the state of the pitch pre game

De Neve, Abileiusu, Kargbo are all here because they're fast as fuck

The fact Abileiusu can defend and play a ball is a happy accident

I think De Neve beats both

You have always and will always care more about being proven right than good faith debate.

On the result. It's not good enough. I'm not about to celebrate a home draw against Stoke. I don't care about "deserved to win", we haven't won a game at home yet, it's fucking appalling.

Its been a really poor start to the season heading into the second international break. 2 wins, 6 losses and a draw. I dont see much to be optimistic about at the moment.

Sums the situation up perfectly..nothing more to add to that really.

Its not surprising no after the overhaul which comprises of letting go a series of key players and replacing them with cheapos from inferior leagues. You have that correct.

I judged Gudjohnsen based on what I have seen so far, and made it pretty clear that I wasnt writing him off. But theres no point pretending that he hasnt been crap in the last 2 games. Tronstad started slowly and became very good. There are also countless players that started poorly and continued to be poor until they left so its pointless comparing.

Not sure spending 10m in window is cheap window for us and probably our most expensive for many season and we reinvested some of the sale money

time and patience is going to be needed to here with a few of these overseas signings.

Leonard hasn’t scored yet for Peterborough has he?

Watched him today. Played well and got an assist.

We shouldn't have sold him only loaned him in my view.

That may be an unpopular opinion.

We made a profit from player trading this summer... again

That is the opposite of "expensive"

Basics of controlling a football for Gudjohnsen.

If we need patience to wait for him to master that then its time to give up.

He's an International footballer, apparently.

Just need his father to show him, if he is half the player we will do alright

But we spent around £10m on transfer in. That was my point Kent

Generally really disappointed in that performance but the last 15 minutes redeemed it somewhat. In the end we could have won with a bit more luck in front of goal.

That first half was atrocious with the ball we looked so negative and nobody was showing for it or making runs behind apart from Cantwell.

The attacking signings are all looking complete duds, Gudjohnsen and Morishita totally anonymous again can’t even do the basics.

The two centre mids sit far too deep all game, one of them needs to run between the lines or carry the ball. A lot of hope on Baradji being this sort of player as we are crying out for one.

Defensive signings all look decent thankfully, Miller MotM today.

The subs made by Ismael finally made a difference today as well and rescued us a point. De Neve and Yuki can start over Gudjohnsen and Morishita for me next game.

Morishita had that one moment in the first half where he crossed for Gudjohnsen who should've done better.

I think we're seeing most of our summer signings are needing time to get up to the pace and physicality of the Championship. Tronstad admitted it took a bit of time when he first joined too, but then after a while he was fine and coped well. Players like McLoughlin are expected to gel right in, whereas the reason Miller and Alebiosu have done better than the rest is that they've both played in the SPL,

de Neve had his best performance in a Rovers shirt today, which is a positive as well.

Did anyone else notice TGH and Tronstad running into the same areas defensively? Obvisously a new pairing and thought TGH looked decent in his first game, but he's a lot worse than Travis. He should probably start ahead of Tavares against Coventry too but I'd give Sidnei a start again soon if I was Ismael.

There might be interest in Alibiouso pardon the spelling, he gets better every game.

Yes if he continues to play the way he has he'll be getting interest by next summer.

Yea I said similar earlier, problem being it’s not just one or two that we can take our time on and gradually gel into team like mgp, this is players who are starting for us and we are needing to hit the ground running, they haven’t and we find ourselves where we are. It’s mismanagement on the recruitment but I’m not making any revelations here we aren’t all aware of

Yes but what you wrote was not about what you saw but about what you believe!

One was ruled out very unfairly but he finished it, so point is he put the ball in the net twice against France

Why can't he put the ball in the net, against a championship team?
