Sadly these players are finding their feet at this level - Morishita, Gudjohnsen, Miller, Albeiosu et al are just going to need consistent game time. I feel sorry for Henriksson who can't seem to get on the pitch at the moment. I thought we got what we deserved, we were poor, we should have had a penalty but on the performance alone we got what we put in. Need to be much better today against a better opposition Quote
Trinidad Rover Posted October 4 Posted October 4 That crowd, or lack of, speaks volumes. Truly sad. 5 Quote
Rover down South Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) Same team, same system and will be same outcome. Worries me VI has no plan b. Hope I’m wrong. Edited October 4 by Rover down South 2 Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Another small home turnout...fans indeed voting with their Feet. 1 Quote
Andy Posted October 4 Posted October 4 The attendance reminds me of Reserve games at Ewood, back in the late '90's. Dire. At least the weather has held off, seems to be brightening up a bit now in the Ewood area. Quote

Couple that with the fact that the ownership and those they put in charge don't warrant our commitment and that's what you get. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Paul Gallagher on sky commentary, sounds like he watches every Rovers game good lad despite his years at PNE and Stoke. Always really liked him, when he came through at first looked like hed have a great premier league career but couldnt stick. Quality in the Championship. Quote
DeeCee Posted October 4 Posted October 4 With reverse logic, as I expect us to get easily beaten, Rovers may surprise me by actually winning. 🤞 Quote
Roverthechimp Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Thomas first shot on goal after 30 seconds - decent effort tbf and solid save from Toth Quote

Poor athlete and, by some accounts, didn't apply himself properly. I thought he'd be a good player for us, but he eventually found his level. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 4 Backroom Posted October 4 Ref being lenient letting us off without a booking there, he won’t let him off with another Quote
davulsukur Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Only 5 mins in and you can see we ain't getting anything here. 1 Quote

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 No atmosphere at all from our fans..sad to witness 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 4 Backroom Posted October 4 Decent effort from Hedges and then another chance for Cantwell; more like it 1 Quote

The Stadium of Light would be empty in similar circumstances, and there's sod all else to do up there. 2 Quote

Feels a bit like a cup game -we might get lucky and snatch a goal somewhere but Stoke look like they are from a division above us that is seriously worrying Quote
Angry_Pirate Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Glad we didn't go due to the weather. Thrilled we didn't go after seeing we've lost the toss and changed ends. Apart from Luton last season, I struggle to think of another good performance when shooting towards the Darwen End 2nd half. Quote
RTM08 Posted October 4 Posted October 4 You can see the quality difference just in the way players react to things. We're so slow to react to anything both in defence and attack. This is not a Championship level team. 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted October 4 Backroom Posted October 4 Some poor hold up play from Andri he has to be a bit more robust; tough job being a striker in this team though Quote

Ohashi by now would have had a lot of touches and link up. Real issue is none of them worry a defence. Stoke looking more on top now... Quote
