Jerseybean Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Hello from a Bristol City fan Ahead of our forthcoming game I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromLogin=1) match thread, which will be posted the day before the match. I would like to include some perspectives from your fans so if anybody would like to share info please do, anything would be appreciated, fans thoughts about the game, players who have represented both clubs, tales from when we’ve met previously, a fans view on your season, etc. Look forward to receiving info and to a great game. simongarnerisgod Posted October 24 Posted October 24 we are shite and it`ll be the easiest 3 points you`ll ever get,we have a terrible record at ashton gate as well Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted October 24 Posted October 24 You’ll win. We’ll lose, the Venky death spiral continues at pace. We are a mess. I’m slightly envious of Wednesday as at least their cretin has gone. Can’t wait for them to do one, and we will get our club back. Watch this space for the protest at the 150th anniversary game against our former team! Quote

Tyrone Shoelaces Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Chris Crowe was playing on the right wing in my first ever game at Ewood. He came as quite an expensive signing but never really made the grade at Rovers. He had a good spell at Wolves afterwards though. Quote
Hasta Posted October 26 Posted October 26 (edited) Stopped in Bristol before the Worthy Cup final in 2002. Bit shit. Wouldn't let us in most pubs in the city centre. Ended up in the crappy back street boozers. Not been back since. Wouldn't recomend. Edited October 26 by Hasta Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 21 hours ago Backroom Posted 21 hours ago Feels an annoyingly unlucky ground for us Quote
philipl Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Bristol City got spanked 5-1 at Stoke today. So we are likely to face a reaction. Don't give away free kicks in Scott Twine territory... Quote

joey_big_nose Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago The thing about Rovers is we are very streaky... Lose a few on the bounce, win a few on the bounce. So sort of hopeful, which is of course asking for trouble. Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Very worried about this one...They will want a reaction after their thrashing today...A draw would be a great result. 3-1 City. Quote

philipl Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago After watching highlights of our win I cast an eye over the Bristol City defeat at Stoke. Bristol certainly like to strike the ball hard from outside the box which was dumb against a keeper of Johansson quality. Their consolation was a nearly undefendable near post back flicked corner. One Stoke goal was a keeper howler but generally Bristol City defended like statues. Pace and pressure up front needed from us on Tuesday to get in amongst those Ashton Gate defenders. Quote
