I'll be there tomorrow but in a home fans section. Trying to rehearse my poker face for if Rovers score. Unsure if this is a skill I will actually require...! Same was with home fans couple years ago when we got battered, as I get free tickets via work. Head in hands that one They weren't even singing til 4 nil up... Worst thing is I'm also a Bristol rovers fan so hate going to the stadium full stop! Quote
norwichblue Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Not expecting anything on a Tuesday night at Ashton Gate. Taking anything away from here would be a great result and another very welcome surprise. COYB 🔵⚪️🌹 1 Quote
superniko Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Similar opinions to others in that I'm thinking absolutely no chance given a mid-week away match. Having said that, a result here puts us into a decent position heading into the 2nd quarter of the season....fixtures after this until Christmas look favourable, with 6 of 9 at home and 6 of 9 against bottom half teams. Although we do have 7 games in 23 days - that Ipswich cancellation is frustrating on so many levels, not least as they'll probably hit form now. Wednesday, Oxford and Pompey in December could make for a happy or disastrous Christmas! Edited 11 hours ago by superniko 1 Quote

Just looking at those fixtures and I just had a thought that summed up where we are right now, Wrexham away, a club that hasn't been in the 2nd tier for 43 years, will very likely go into that game having vastly more Championship experience in their starting XI than we do. I have no idea what the actual total minutes in the Championship per side will be, but I would wager they will be miles ahead of us in that respect, sobering thought for the day! 2 Quote

Ok -I know we should only have been replaying the last 10-15 mins against ten men anyway, but, I think it would have been a lot worse replaying the full 90 mins within a 2-3 weeks. Quote
davulsukur Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago A Tuesday night away game at a ground we rarely win at. Yeah, not much confidence in this one. 1 Quote
roverblue Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Maybe it's just me but we always seem to play these midweek away and lose. But confidence will be high after a great away performance where we have generally looked better than we do at home. Bristol 2-2 Rovers Quote
philipl Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Bristol City supporter friend has texted me that they have a completely makeshift defense and midfield because of injuries and hoping we have no pace in our team. Quote
Polky Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago We never win at Ashton Gate, would be happy with a point from this one. 3 Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Bristol city like to play on the counter, that's where the majority of their shots stem from. If we leave gaping holes like we do, then we will concede a few...Need to keep it tight like last game. Edited 4 hours ago by BankEnd Rover Quote

moerpho Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hoping for a draw - expecting a loss. Will be watching the first 15 mins then I switch over to Bodø Glimt in Champions League. That club is everything we should strive to be. Quote
