SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Up against it with this one, every game a cup final now in our position. Would take the draw but need the three.. 1-1. 1 Quote
ruggles1995 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 weird one this, on paper looks difficult, but timing wise, its a great time to play them, they aren't in form, and we've just come through winning from a goal behind. Lets hope confidence helps us. Can see us getting something from this game. But would not be surprised to see us get beat either. 3 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted October 27 Posted October 27 As bad as we are, see this one as strangely winnable. Leicester have been desperately poor thus far all things considered. Quote
... Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Time to pick up the season now. Leicester away isn't going to be fun but they are a bit down and will be fancying this one to put them back on form, draw or a win nothing less. Quote
jim mk2 Posted October 27 Posted October 27 Our last trip to Leicester was the FA Cup victory under Tomasson - a brilliant night. I'd take that result again. It's an early start and with the dire form (despite last weekend's aberration) I'm not sure we can summon up the enthusiasm. If it's pay on the gate it'll be a late decision Quote

He's missed so many chances this season, he's fluffed so many golden opportunities, just not up to it. Give Gueye a go with Gudjohnsen and use Ohashi as an impact sub. No good giving Gueye 4 minutes off the bench then ripping him a new one. A run of games is what he needs, massively positive character and has a bit of a relationship with the fans Quote

A run of games is what he needs, massively positive character and has a bit of a relationship with the fans I personally think it would be mad to drop Ohashi - he is the heart beat of everything up front. I'd start the same team as the last game. I think doing the same thing with Henricksson and Montgomery coming on for the last 30 mins is a good plan to persevere with as they offer the energy we need to see out games. Striker options are a real problem. Ismael needs to do something with Gueye - he can't just freeze him out when we have no one else. We need an alternative - Ohashi and Andri worked ceaselessly against Southampton but they will get injured if we ask them to do that every game for a full 90. Only other place to look is Tyjon who has barely made the bench. If Gueye is totally discounted by the manager then we need to see what he can offer. 1 Quote

I think that relationship has somewhat faded now people have realised how bad he is and how when he comes on he doesnt even give his all. 1 Quote
Rover down South Posted Monday at 21:13 Posted Monday at 21:13 Can’t see Gudjohnsen & Gueye ever working together. I think Ohashi or Tyjon need to play just off AG. He needed that first goal at the weekend and you can see what it meant to him. I think there’s many more to come from him and that number 9 role is his now. Gueye has the passion I wish other players would display, but he is nowhere near Championship level. As for Saturday, I’m going 2-2 with (TGH & Gudjohnsen for us) Quote

Gueye doesn't display any passion when he comes on in a huff and cant be bothered putting in 100%. Quote

In this case I agree with you that Gueye shouldnt play, he is awful. But just because the manager (one with a pitiful record) does something or believes something doesnt nullify the opinion. Quote
RoversTilliDie Posted Tuesday at 08:53 Posted Tuesday at 08:53 If we can pick up points in our next 3 matches, we'll be happier going into the international break. Anybody know when Baradji makes his debut. Quote

Anybody know when Baradji makes his debut. Blackburn manager Valerien Ismael expects Moussa Baradji to make his debut after the next international break in November. Note that he doesn't state just how much "after" the November break, so that statement covers any date until the end of the season 😉 Edited Tuesday at 09:01 by KentExile 1 2 Quote
