Callum Wilson, experienced striker could leave West Ham. Would be a shrewd singing for anyone in the Championship.

Depends if he is fit and motivated. A very small % of experienced player who drop down from prem to Championship are.

We lack creativity and spark in the middle. We are so lacklustre and slow the majority of the team prefer a backwards or sideways pass, it will only ever get us so far.

Nah, we lack an Alebiosu equivalent at LWB and pace at CF.

If he stays in this country, he will end up at another lower end Premier League team or a Championship team with parachute money

Yeah, it’d be the equivalent of somebody signing Carter. He’s no stranger to the treatment room.

Seen Gueye is training away from Rovers - think where Dolan was?

He uploaded a video of him on instagram and he was shooting.
Of course he missed the first shot 😅.

Regardless of what’s happening with him, always has that big smile. Love the guy but ability, we all know…

I think that big smile is a bit of a front. He has underperformed even by his own standards and let his teammates and fans down by not training how he should as a professional footballer.

Wilson is the sort of signing we have a chance with if no other club has even given him a hint of interest by February, and he wants to keep his fitness ahead of a real move in the summer.

He isn't. He would have clubs queuing round the block if he was prepared to accept the wages that we could offer. We'd be a long way back in that queue.

Gueye isnt good enough and never was. I feel a bit of sympathy for him though because Ismael was well out of order criticising him in public for not training hard enough. Managers shouldn’t be doing that.

tbf that was pretty much the point I was trying to get across - we'd only have a sniff if literally no-one else was biting for some reason.

Oh, constructive dismissal by bullying/ marginalising?

I don't think its ever been unusual in football except here they are playing their games out in public.

Same as 'Wanted to leave/Greedy/Wanted to be closer to home/Was offered a record wage here but still chose to leave' etc etc.

Works both ways to be fair as i assume Gueyes agent will be saying pay us off in full and we'll go. Which in theory would be the fairest thing to do but it uses up vital money and exposes those who brought him in as making a massive balls up.

Maybe THEY should be made to pay him up instead !

Hes that bad.

Plus seemingly cant be arsed in training.

It's the latter more than the former IMO. He definitely isn't so bad that he shouldn't even make a bench that has zero strikers in a team that plays 2 at a time, one of whom already isn't a striker (or any good at all).

Ismael wants to make a point about training standards, and that's his prerogative tbh.

I don't think that would be the fairest thing to do at all. I don't agree with being paid exorbitant sums for failure and laziness.

Depends on the truth of the matter and we've only heard one side and we only will once hes signed his DNA and gone.

However a contract is a contract and the clowns at Ewood probably gave him a good one so if they want him out and can't find a buyer there's only one option.

Unless he breaches the contract or requests a move.
