Well….that sucks. But a bit expected. Easy to think we would not have lost this with Toth, Wharton, Carter, Trondstad and Cantwell in the starting lineup. For once it is good with an international break. Lick our wounds and look back to the second half and come back stronger. Derby were an Eustace team through and through and in the end deserved their win. Better to forget this one and move forward.

Now…where is that bottle? Time to get drunk….

By the way we were told to ‘look up’ did anyone notice anything?

Glad Eustace is gone. Terrible style of football.

Don't be a clown. You've just watched us pass it around 30 yards from goal, throw it long and hit the first man for 90 mins, whilst being wide open at the back.

Eustace now showing with Derby what we could have done if he had any support. Rubber snake brigade can't admit it tho.

Another huge thanks to the owners from me today. A special moment watching Eustace saluting 3000 Derby fans doing the Poznan in the Darwen End as I trudged out of the ground.

That first half was diabolical, that second half was borderline passable, but too late as usual.

Overall, nowhere near good enough. Daft line up, daft formation and poor performance. Mugged off on our birthday by a good manager who has a plan.

Southampton were a basket case and we were lucky to sneak past them, ditto at Leicester. Hard fought win in a poor game on Tuesday. Today, we played against a well organised team on a roll and got what we deserved. Still anxious to see us get to 50 points.

It physically pains me that Gueye is on 10 grand a week.  I've got to go to work on Monday know that.

Some are born with talent, some aren't, and some are just fucking lucky.

When Venkys do birthday parties.

Exactly this.

Always the same when we have a bit of a special occasion and/or a bigger crowd in for any reason.

We generally fluff our lines giving the floating fan no reason whatsoever to come back.

Its just all so predictable, the injuries are predictable, the poor defending against a physical team on a set piece, not showing up when we get a good following. We all knew it.

The players do try, but my lord that match day squad is going to struggle with any manager.

Assume this is sarcasm as he's twice the manager Ismael is.

It wasn't. It was my personal opinion of Eustace and his style of football. Has nothing to do with Ismael.

Overall a pretty awful performance. Ohashi took the penalty well but that was pretty much the only genuine chance Rovers mustered for the entire game. Gudjohnsen completely absent, Alebiosu surprisingly poor, Miller terrible, the rest of them were all lots of effort but no real quality. Never looked for one minute like they would threaten Derby in open play.

Watching Miller take about 50 long throws and pretty much all of them fail to beat the first man is like some form of torture.

Missing key players in Toth, Tronstad and Wharton did not help at all either, but they're going to have to find a way to figure that out, at least in the case of Toth and Wharton.

Montgomery has done enough for me to warrant a starting place based on his recent appearances.

Its a bloody good job they managed the last 3 wins, because Preston away will be very tough with them in good form, and the games come thick and fast in December.

Rovers were never going to score from long throws and badly taken corners. Derby scored 2 headers and were miles better in the air.

The second half was better than the first but as has been pointed out a John Eustace team isn't going to capitulate at 2-0 up.

A lot of huff and puff with nobody who can finish, its' been the same story since Szmodics was sold. Last season's Rovers with Carlton Morris would have had a chance to go up.

Gueye is not a footballer.

We’ve known it for years. We never had the squad depth to overcome fatigue of a congested schedule or a few injuries. Take away 2 starting CB 2 center mids and our first choice keeper, it’s no surprise this is what it looks like. Even in years past when we were “pushing” for promotion our downfall has always been the lack of invest by the owners leaving us with a paper thin squad.

Everyone is entitled to their own views, and since it has come up, I would have preferred Eustace over Ismael every day of the year for 150 years.

I can never understand why some wouldn't prefer us to be a winning team, but I realize that people are different.

Did we test their goalkeeper once?

Venkys out!

I've been on holiday lads. Not seen any of the games (no point spoiling a perfectly good holiday is there?)

How TF of were this bad food we manage to win three previous two games? I can't understand how one week we're beating Bristol city away and then the next were nailed on for relegation. Anyone?

Happy 150th birthday lads. Doubt I'll be here for the 200th, but don't worry there's always the 175th?
