Gone from players like Travis, Wharton, Rothwell, Ayari - even Buckley and JRC  to the likes of Tavares, Baradji, Foreshaw and Cantwell.  Cantwells not fit to lace Rothwells boots- shit!

To give Baradji a little bit of credit I thought he was the only one who at least looked like he was trying to make something happen.

Albeit without a great deal of success.

Pathetic performance and result.

Should have freshen the team with 2 or 3 changes. Team looks tired. Created not enough.

Had Baradji score might have different.

Hope Litherland's injury isn't to bad.

Roll on Sunday now. COYB 🔵 ️

Roll on May when this lot can’t ruin any more days for me.

Sometimes you can accept getting beat by a better side , which they were. What you can't accept is being outfought, outrun and worse I'm all the basic football "givens"

There have been some dire performance at home this season but that was as bad as it gets.

Going to need to go back to a back 4 on Monday as no option with no wing backs available.

This club keeps dropping to new depths. Absolutely woeful, shameful and embarassing performance.

One of the biggest things to show how desperate we are is the suggestion that we need to put Gueye back in the squad. That anyone is even suggesting that such a clown could improve us shows how bad things are.

We need to totally gut this squad and it wont happen.

Miller and McLaughlin were both terrible. A proper defender was outstanding at the other end. We do need a left wing back. Baradji looks like another dud. Cantwell was awful. Ohashi again rubbish, not a very good player. Henriksson I think has won a competition to play.

It should say VENKYS OUT, but at least it’s some form of protest, good effort.

Some thoughts. They have a dodgy keeper who has made a couple of bad mistakes in recent matches and we failed to get a shot on target at home. Our first choice keeper was sat on the bench whilst we were seemingly just waiting for Pears to mess up so that he can be replaced in the next match. Seeing as we have no goals in the team, a solid keeper is essential and we actually have one sat on the bench!! The team is so weak and there is nobody on the bench who can come on and change things. There was basically no way back once the first goal went in. Realistically we need 5 decent experienced signings across multiple areas of the pitch to actually be competitive. We won't spend enough money to do that and I doubt any decent players would want to join....if any prospective signings were at the match today I suspect they left at half time. Without the signings we are going to be relying on 3 other teams being worse than us and us managing to scrape together a few scrappy draws and lucky wins. 2026 is going to be another good one folks. .

Slightly disingenuous to say a club formed 11 years before ours and with multiple European appearances has no history.

I'm talking about prestige history. They're old, great. They got in Europe by winning the prestigious Welsh Cup, oooh. They've never even been in the top flight and barely been in this one.

Compared to Blackburn Rovers, they're a chihuahua next to a husky, historically speaking. That's the point I was making. I'm actually pleased for their underdog story and watch their documentary. I'm not knocking what they've done or trying to diss them, I'm pointing out they had precisely zero natural advantages over us. Shitter ground, shitter history, smaller fanbase, worse facilities, lesser finances even after their owners came in. Yet they've managed to jump from 3 leagues below us in a fraction of the time we have gone from Prem to League One and then treaded water in the Championship with zero playoff appearances.

And that it's all because of one thing - better owners who let football people run the club, back those people, and only intervene when it's useful.

Credit to Wrexham. Missing key players, they were fully in control. Just very simple stuff as well from them, they were just well drilled and committed.

Rathbone epitomised everything I want to see in a Rovers player.

Burn every one of those lillywhite shirts after this..

Definitely the colour  of surrender. Bland, uninspiring and irrelevant. Good choice.

The team that couldn't score against a poor Wednesday side were never going to score against an average Wrexham. Chuck into that a dodgy Pears positional goal  and it was game over from then on in.

A poor display from a tired team only made worse by the sky fawning over Wrexham's really average team. (who fully deserved the win but didn't have ro do much)

I don't care if Gueye has a bad attitude. He is getting paid by rovers and should be playing given our lack of attack

Oh dear- the lack of energy and drive at Sheffield limped on to today.

Surely Toth saves the first Wrexham goal.

We are deep in the poo.

Toth has to be a cast iron cert for a return after Pears  let that one in on his near side.

The big question is will Chaddy now only predict us to win by 1  against Charlton at the weekend?  or are we still going to score a bagful? 😉

I had a few days away booked, we were setting off after the match today and then coming back for Sunday’s match.

I can’t see myself bothering on Sunday now tbh- what’s the point?

I do wonder why after performances like that, man of the match awards are not cancelled for the day.

I would be genuinely embarrassed to receive an award after a performance of that standard

Assume Litherland & Hedges injured

                                Toth

          O'Riordan   Atcheson   Pratt

Miller    Baradji    Tronstad    Cantwell    Powell

                     Joseph    Ohashi

Miller not the best choice at wing back, but we completely lack wide options, Ribeiro on the wing would be madness
