We haven’t mounted a comeback against Real Madrid, we drew at home to Charlton. Maybe if this so called manager could set up a team properly we wouldn’t have gone 2-0 down early on.

as a fanbase as former premier league champions we need to demand better, in my opinion.

We all want better than this. Things could hardly be more stark than right now. We must demand better as fans for sure and that is of course the bigger picture, but today a decimated squad managed to get a very unlikely draw and they don't deserve harsh criticism (the owners and stooges do of course). Charlton may not be Real Madrid but thanks to Venkys this is our level now and actually their match day squad was stronger than ours.

A decent point, with the big injury list we've got at the moment..Best I've seen from Baradji in a Rovers shirt, probably would have had his hat trick, if he hadn't been taken off. Things are looking up, when we get Alibousi back alongside Baradji. We could have won it, if the ref had given the clear penalty. Good battling performance from Rovers.

Alebiosu is out for 4 weeks apparently with a bad cut to his leg.  He’s possibly the first one of our players to come back. We’ve got more starting players injured than we have playing !

It has been one level of failing to replace proven Championship-level performers (Hyam, Travis, etc) with younger, cheaper lads from foreign leagues.

But the (many) rumblings we've heard about players being shipped out due to non-footballing reasons, on top of allegations such as Gestede bullying administrative staff, or removing all non-Halal food at the training ground, concerns me just as much.

He/they are forcing themselves and their personal preferences onto the club at all costs.
And if you don't agree, you're out of the door.

Absolutely this. I thought we were dead and buried so have to give them credit for coming back and getting a point that just about keeps us arms length from the drop. Of course we shouldn’t be in this position but we are so can only judge on a game to game basis with who we have available

That was the initial fear, but he is expected to only be out a couple of weeks. He is staying with the Nigeria squad so they clearly think he could still play for them before he comes back.

Played the last 20 mins after the injury but went to hospital with it! Sounds ludicrous as there was subs made after that.

News today via Google search says he trained in a light session today so can't be that bad!

I watched the whole game and he played every minute. There was no sign of any injury at any point. Nobody came on to treat him, no bloodstains on his sock. Very strange.

Said it before the game but why do we keep playing 5 at the back at home? We continually concede soft goals and it’s so defensive we have no attacking threat.

Charlton were cruising until the 2nd goal and they inexplicably gave up to defend from that point. Stupid decision and let us sneak back into the game.

Generally though it was poor other than Baradji and Atcheson who stood out as the best players.

For me Ismael has to go he can’t set the team up properly at home and has no flexibility or tactical nous to change it during a game. The squad is poor but he is an equally poor manager.

Another poor result and poor performance in a game we needed to be winning.

I mean things are desperate that people seem to be bigging up Gueye again as if his absence is anything but a blessing.

Baradji is a mixed bag overall and can be quite loose on the ball but there is ability there. If he continues to offer a goal threat from midfield today then it will be crucial for us.

Atcheson also did well on his full debut. Again was loose at times and I do think its easier being one of the wide centre backs but showed a lot of promise and a lot of energy and purpose.

Pickering is a solid left back but hes simply not a left wing back and De Neve is not a footballer. Critical we sign a left wing back as a matter of urgency. Miller dug out a cross for the second which was probably the only good thing he did, including the return of his terrible throws.

Cantwell was better today but you can see his frustration being surrounded by dross and he is a soft arse. Ohashi plods away, again no real support but he should be a squad player.

We need lots of players in this week which wont happen. And if any come in, they probably wont be any good.

Charlton arent great and Bell hasnt improved since he left based on that. Needed to be targetted more especially when weirdly he went to right centre back as he wont use his weak foot at all.

Also caught the end of his interview on radio lancs, hedges out at least 8 but up to 16 weeks needs surgery for broken leg. Also said we must use the loan market after ruling it out in summer.

I thought Miller was poor again out of possession in the first half. Skinned a couple of times by Campbell and then easily bypassed before they switched it for the first goal.

Surely Montgomery would be a better wing back than Miller? (I know the lad has been out a few weeks but I doubt he'll play there).

Playing 5/3 at the back isn't quite so bad when you have Alebiosu, the minute he departed it was never gonna work, now Hedges is goosed its completely pointless with the availability issues. We're still trying to play down the flanks thinking we have 2 premium wing backs going to create things,it's absolute insanity.

Ismael says we are in an emergency, we will probably sign Duncan Watmore man and some rejects no championship club will touch.

I don't want to have to listen to his interview, can you elaborate further with what he said about us being in an emergency?

Should have been a straight red but Rathbone wasn't even booked.

Thought a draw was the right result, even though Charlton had the better chances.

3 young CBs did well, despite a few rash balls forward, Atcheson is a real unit and will definitely grow to be a decent CB...All 3 I'd love to start ahead of the shite of Miller and McLaughlin who were both poor, again!

Cantwell is a bad smell, not the captain we need and honestly in possession is so wasteful. He holds onto the ball way too long and thinks everytime he shields the ball and falls it's going to be a foul - When actually he ahould of played the ball earlier...He also has the worst shot on any player we have...As soon as others come back I'd personally drop him.

We’re also terrible on set pieces so it’s a bit of a waste trying to draw fouls

Other side of the pitch to me but thought he set up the equaliser ?

So, I was considering walking out for an early tea when the second went in, but I’m glad I didn’t.

Atcheson and Baradji were the standouts. I thought O’riordan made a big difference from half time and the lads showed they haven’t given up. Assuming we get the 3/4 players in, then once we get Gudjonson, Alebiosu, Morishita, and Wharton back I think we’ll be much better.

We deserved a point after that second half performance.

The change of formation helped and we witness both Cantwell and Baradji further forward.

The first goal, Miller was very poor. Second goal, it wasn't a penalty, Jones dive for it. Very impressed by Charlton's striker Leaburn today. Type of striker we would need.

We scored a beautiful first goal with a lovely with Ohashi good play, Cantwell's great cross and Baradji's great powerful header. Getting that goal before half time was very helpful.

Second half, we had more momentum after that's first goal, surprised by both changes. Atcheson's shot was a good effort from him. . The second goal was good cross/pass by Miller straight to Baradji pathway so he could hit it first time with a great finish. Shame we couldn't find a winner this time. Clearly hand ball not given for us, it hit the arm of the player and yet not given by the ref even tho he said himself it hit his elbow, is that not handball now? The overall performance of the ref was very poor and so inconsistent.

Baradji clearly the man of the match and you seen today why Ismael wanted him so badly here. Atcheson has very good game and there is something in him. O'Riordan did well second half after a dodgy first half. Ohashi played well, and looked better with 2 behind him.

Surprised that Ismael didn't bring on Tyjon instead of Henriksson which I would have done.

he did played the cross for Baradji's second goal,

Ta, thought he did, I thought it would have been worth at least a mention in a post match summary.
