  1. Give me an N, give me a D, give me an…
  2. Poor post that, ‘yeah he was ill, but he can pay’. How mean spirited.
  3. Orient would be a new ground for most and a London away is always good craic if you can sort a decent priced train. Stockport, definitely, great for boozers. Wrexham, about 1,300 tickets, I think, so be a mad scramble.
  4. Well, will we even get the PNE one? I’d wager, just about, largely due to quite a few permeations need to go against them, but tell you what if the season had a couple of more weeks to run I think they’d go, gone in to free fall.
  5. The irony is after years of them being ridiculously slow in getting them on sale the one year they did pull their fingers out it was the worst possible timing. 25th March they went on sale, when the club was at the lowest of ebbs, terrible run ongoing on the pitch, the Eustace debacle still fresh, Glen’s campaign ramping up followed by the car crash of the three stooges’ boardroom appearance. Ergo many fans have already made up their mind to not renew regardless of this late rally. Of course some will reconsider, but if the tickets had gone on sale on the 25th April instead (even the 25th May) I’d wager they’d have got away with relatively minimal levels of non-renewals. Oh well, what you reap and all that…
  6. One of those sliding doors moments, they’d have picked some other journeyman manager and they’d be following the PNE trajectory…
  7. Can’t win with folk like that. Chant 1-0 down ‘typical when we are getting beat, just get behind ‘em FFS!’ Chant 1-0 up ‘eh? What’s all this about, we are winning, just get behind ‘em FFS!’ A shed load of match goers just want to watch the game, so to answer SG’s point, yes they are content enough to put up with the status quo- and why you will NEVER get consistent protest in any great numbers at the ground if the team is even doing remotely ok. So fellow posters, just forget about Ewood itself being some centre of dissent and let’s get behind Glen’s campaign FFS!
  8. There’s plenty, have a listen to convos around Ewood, there’s still a groundswell out there that really think they are the only thing keeping us from liquidation.
  9. I imagine they’ll regret not making more cash out of it, but regret for the state of BRFC? I imagine they don’t give a toss.
  10. Sounds like you want the present regime to carry on in charge but to tinker with comms and food… how about the regime sells up and fecks off as a change for BRFC?
  11. The Walkers are completely to blame. Imagine sitting in a room with these people (if they ever even bothered to do that) and thinking ‘yes, these can be trusted with Jack’s/Dad’s legacy’… of course they didn’t, ‘ooo £30 million, you say, where do we sign?’
  12. Why would they do that? He’s lowered costs and kept us in the division - job done and bonuses all round. Fans are getting a big narky? They’ve never given a feck about that.
  13. They were one TV deal away from PL revenues exploding - they could’ve tripled their money,. They sold the club and Jack’s legacy down the river for fuck all.
  14. Comfortable Premier League club with 25,000 average crowds, but yeah, dire, wasn’t it…
  15. Not that I saw… so they have gone too early again and missed some cracking strikes. 🤷‍♂️
  16. Like the age old question of if a tree falls in the forest with nobody there, does it make a sound… did it actually happen (don’t have a TNT subscription, you see)?
  17. Yeah normally they do show the goals in contention at the penultimate home game (sometimes even earlier) and I always think ‘what if we score some crackers today?’… which we did on Friday! Maybe a decision has now been made to leave it as late as possible to catch as many late contenders as possible… or they are still looking into it
  18. Reading them trying to spin this one will be a laugh (in a tragic kind of way).
  19. @K-Hod was it asked at the FF the other night?
  20. ‘Good move’ to have stock in for Christmas. Round of applause all round 👏
  21. We won’t be getting any of what you describe from this regime (even if we expand what you mean by ‘comms’ to include basic marketing) so you might as well let it go.
  22. Ah you’re moving the goal posts now. So by ‘comms’ you meant advertising and marketing too? Well obviously folk are going to agree that we should be doing that… however a running commentary of lies from the three stooges is another matter entrirely.
  23. The fans should be, the regime shouldn’t. Normal clubs have stock on the shelves in August.
  24. Get him appointed, as with a Swag in situ there is at least a fig leaf of normality i.e. ‘he’s an experienced football executive’. But make Rudy fecking Gestede the CEO of Blackburn Rovers and it will be clear to all they’ve given up entirely and aren’t even attempting to hide it.
