tomphil Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Never mind TC just look at the job Rowett continues to do at Brum. Wish we had someone capable of grabbing this squad by the rollocks and installing that siege mentality into them.
Ricky Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 shame Rowett wouldn't swap one set of bonkers owners for another. Also shows that it's worth looking at managers who have done a good job in the lower leagues. His previous club have continued to push on and are now flying at the top of the league.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 30, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted September 30, 2015 Didn't Rowett say that he couldn't even offer players £10k p/w? But yeah, that embargo..
Amo Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Never mind TC just look at the job Rowett continues to do at Brum. Wish we had someone capable of grabbing this squad by the rollocks and installing that siege mentality into them. But do they give it a right good go?
tomphil Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 But do they give it a right good go? Dunno but he has definitely done ever so well since he took over a basket case club with less resources than us, lesser squad than us and at the time similar crowds to us. Magnificent job and not a 3000% in sight I don't think
roverandout Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 His team has been magnificent and they always get back to the training ground
blueboy3333 Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 another mention of TC.. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fulham-boss-explains-disagrees-ex-10157313 and another... Symons on why Cairney is best a right midfielder. Football managers eh, clueless the lot of em Dunno but he has definitely done ever so well since he took over a basket case club with less resources than us, lesser squad than us and at the time similar crowds to us. Magnificent job and not a 3000% in sight I don't think done a very good job has Rowett. Shows there's managerial talent in the lower divisions. Now if only we had owners who knew about this stuff because i don't think our managers appoint themselves, including the current one
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 3, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted October 3, 2015 Birmingham's ownership situation is as mental as ours and they managed it...
blueboy3333 Posted October 3, 2015 Author Posted October 3, 2015 Birmingham's ownership situation is as mental as ours and they managed it... do you know who is making the football decisions at Brum? I doubt their situation is anything like ours, unless Brum are also run by committee by people who live thousands of miles away and who know nothing about football.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 3, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted October 3, 2015 One thing I do know, their owner is in prison!
Backroom Tom Posted October 3, 2015 Backroom Posted October 3, 2015 3 points off the drop zone and 6 off the playoffs you have to think the season is heading for mid table nothingness. Hopefully a cup run again would be nice!
Backroom DE. Posted October 3, 2015 Backroom Posted October 3, 2015 Not looking good for Bolton... think they are in for the drop this season.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 3, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted October 3, 2015 Yep, I think they'll go this season will Bolton.
davulsukur Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 They were really poor when they turned up to Ewood earlier in the season.
LewisF Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Wouldn't be surprised if the 3 that came up go back down. But then again Bolton and Brentford are right down there too Edit: Rotherham too
JHRover Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Looking at the league table tonight, I think that all the teams currently below us are poorer and weaker than us and all should finish below us this season. Bristol, Preston, Bolton, Rotherham, MK Dons, Brentford, Charlton, Huddersfield and Leeds are all man for man poorer sides than we are. I think we are in the mid-range group consisting of Forest, QPR, Fulham, Sheff Wednesday, Cardiff and one or two others, who will float between flirting with relegation and the play offs but probably won't really be close to either come the end of the season.
chaddyrovers Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Been talking to few Preston Fans this week and some are very unhappy with Grayson as manager, his tactics and his summer signings
TeamGB-11 Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Been talking to few Preston Fans this week and some are very unhappy with Grayson as manager, his tactics and his summer signings He got a league 1 standard squad promoted, such gratitude..
LDRover Posted October 3, 2015 Posted October 3, 2015 Rotherham are nailed on to go down. I wouldn't be surprised if Huddersfield joined them and Charlton are going to struggle as well.

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted October 4, 2015 Moderation Lead Posted October 4, 2015 Demarai Gray at Brum looks a real player.
JBiz Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 And clayton donaldson. For a club in supposed turmoil they've held onto their better players and it's showing!
blueboy3333 Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 Demarai Gray at Brum looks a real player. Brum turned down a £5m bid from B'mouth for Gray in the summer. Not sure if the decision was made from a prison cell
