He does realise there is a bumper pay deal for staying in the Championship this year doesn't he? Wednesday go 1-0 up early, they are having a party at our place at our expense in the league.

This is the Rovers paradox. You'll have scrotes like Waggott making efforts to save a few quid on grass seed or boost ticket sales by a few grand yet longer term their mismanagement of the club on the pitch is costing us tens of millions.

Negligence has already seen Lenihan, Rothwell, Diaz waltz off for nothing, next up will be Gallagher and Dolan, and relegation to League One will cost circa £10 million overnight before we get on to ticket sales and sponsorship.

A bit like the last few Januarys where a small yet sensible spend may well have been the difference and got us into the top 6 and potential promotion yet they do nothing but weaken us.

He's never had a plan he just wings it year to year just looks at the min income target to ensure he stays in his job then looks for ways to guarantee hitting it.

A few grand from a couple of thousand extra Sheff Weds fans isn't going to make or break this seasons finances we'd just sold 25 mill worth of players FFS.  Losing our Championship status might just break the club though over the next couple of years but i suspect he'll be sat at home enjoying the millions he's earned here by then.

He would probably switch the game to Hillsborough if it was within the league rules and he made a few more quid that way.

This defeat and confirmation of relegation is on him and I say that with confidence a week and a half before the game.

A complete tool in every sense of the word.

Wednesday confirmed a 7000 sellout.

Waggott confirmed a Rovers sellout but not on the ticket front.

The bad news of being humiliated at Bristol City last night quickly buried by 7000 Owls coming to town and boosting his balance sheets.

Deliberately.

Waggott's genius idea resulting us in potentially restricting home fans whilst maximising away fans... and then will complain about a lack of home fans I'm sure.

The incredulity of Rovers responding to an away fans sell out by making it harder for home fans to buy tickets 😆

And then in the same article saying “the club are urging fans to pack out the stands”

To their credit though, making under 12’s free is a positive move, all be it with limited impact as the adult ticket prices are still high. Why not reduce adults to £10 for a one off to fill the ground? It’s really not rocket science Steve lad!

Why can't they just do it by postcode or is that too difficult?

Because a large percentage of Rovers fans don't live in Blackburn.

True. Interesting the club doesn't acknowledge this fact when marketing and advertising, only when it comes to restricting.

I'm struggling to see why John Smith with an Accy postcode and address couldn't buy one. Obviously a Sheffield or Yorkshire postcode is a different matter but suspect the number of Ewood attending Rovers fans who aren't season ticket holders in that group is very small.

How many does it take to cause a problem on the ground ?

Steve is a happy lad now Weds have shifted all their tickets, no need to bother with anything more than 12k home fans and a few extra kids.

20k crowd guaranteed.

At this rate there'll be another pay rise on the horizon.

Any more than 20,000 these days and they go into a tailspin having to issue warnings about parking, congestion, traffic, queues, bumper crowds etc.

Just under 20,000 right in the comfort zone.

Traffic, congestion and noise have been happening around Ewood Park every other Saturday for over 120 years.

What could anyone possibly complain about?

To be fair, some of the parking going up Jack Walker Way, on double yellows all the way up, prevents emergency service vehicles from getting through.

In fact you don’t get more than 1 car through at a time, which is fun when something is coming the other way.

I’m not arsed either way, as I walk it down to the ground, but some of the matchday parking is pretty grim on a regular basis.

What's that got to do with the Club? Complain all they like the club was here before they were and is doing nothing wrong filling its seats up.

If only we had some empty spare land close to Ewood that we could use for parking on matchdays......

But Rovers don't own the land. Council own the land like on Alan Shearer way

Not everyone lives there for Rovers.
