A long shot because of the conditions. We'll really struggle in the heat. I remember Japan 2002 how Brazil were far better than us because the conditions drained our players Quote

USABlue Posted October 6 Posted October 6 What are Palace fans saying about our boy. Do they agree with us that they stole him, curious if they live him kike we did. If there is a Palace thrrad on him I'd love a link, I watch Palace everytime I can but if he is not playing I change channel. Palace may now be my 2nd favourite club now. We really screwed up letting him go and I thought he had screwed up going so soon. I thiught he should have stayed another season or two to get better however he seems to have made the step up spectacularly. What a joy to watch he can be. 3 Quote

This is just a search for "Wharton" on the Palace forum, but should suit your purpose He was always going to make the step up with ease, and will soon make another step up to a genuine top team competing for a Champions League win Personally think that if any scout at Man City/Arsenal/Liverpool/letc was not trying to urge their club to sign him when Palace picked him up, they should be sacked as they obviously do not know a good player when they see one Edited October 7 by KentExile Quote

He was trying to sign him when he was at Everton but he couldn’t convince the board there to splash the cash. Edited October 7 by Tyrone Shoelaces 1 Quote

Funny the comments about the ref, so it continues even when they leave Rovers. Edited October 7 by USABlue 1 Quote

Doesn't matter how much they spend or who they sign or who the manager is---they can't seem to break out of this long period of decline. I don't think he'd advance his career by going there. Quite the contrary in fact. I'd hope Liverpool would go for him if he wants to move back home. Somehow he doesn't seem their sort of player though. City? 1 1 Quote

Can't stand the scousers. I'd love to see him end up at real madrid. Prefer English talent going abroad Quote
