BOURNEMOUTH have sold three defenders to

Liverpool

Real Madrid

PSG

this summer for a combined 150m!!!

And then have the sheer nerve to reinvest some of that in new players. Anybody would think there is a model to follow there. Unfortunately our illustrious owners seem to only understand the first part.

Isak refusing to play for Newcastle again.  Player power is now out of control.  If it had been any club other than Newcastle I would have felt sorry for them

Its one thing to push for a move but it gets to a point that as the buying club I'd not want that kind of character round the place for fear that he'll just down tools at any given moment.

Of course as Rovers fans it would be a novelty if there was a player willing to go on strike to join us.

It has happened - can't remember who when at the moment.

Why do you have a thing about Newcastle? Id rather see them win a few things than the usual suspects - especially Man Ure.

I wish when Liverpool had come in for Isaak (sp?) the FFP and PSR rules had permitted them to flex their financial muscle, tell Liverpool to fuck off, and put a £250 m counter bid in for Salah on a £1m p.w. tax free salary just to piss them off. And then if Salah said yes, pull out at the last minute.

Isaak's half way through a long term deal. He'd be grateful for the security of that contract if he picked up a bad injury. If Newcastle dont want to sell that SHOULD be the end of it.

Just they think they're bigger than they are

Im not sure that's the case, prior to the League Cup win at least I think they had a sort of gallows humour about their relative lack of success over the years.

Same with Citeh fans, most of them aren't too big for their boots to remember they were playing York not that long ago.

United fans on the other hand........
