Just when the women’s game is taking off nationally. Similar to getting us relegated from the Prem just as the gold bars started being handed out.

Unfortunately there’s no cure for stupid.

But can’t they see if the Venkys won’t fund a few hundred thousand pounds for the women’s team they’re unlikely to fund the men’s team either.

These things can’t be looked at ‘in isolation’.

Personally think it's the wrong decision in terms of supporting the women's game.

But even if you don't think the women's game is worth supporting surely most fans can (should?) see it generates more negative publicity about the club.

Speaking as someone who has no interest in women football or Rovers women football I think Rovers were wrong for the decision made but how they didnt communicated their decision properly to the players of the team was an utter disgraceful.

People don't have interest in Women's football and then they judged it from that viewpoint

As usual, ignore all the responses to what you wrote first time round, then complete the circle by posting it again

Spoke very well. Really highlights the type of people we have running the club..and lack of any willingness to do anything. Got to feel for her.

Yea I agree mate clearly a well spoken woman and knowledgeable on matters. I do feel for her and the others it's just not fair and in addition to her comments on there not being much out there promoting the women side and match days I have to agree the really have put them in the back seat.

We're one club with many teams all representatives of Blackburn Rovers
