MarkBRFC Posted April 22 Posted April 22 (edited) It's great to point the finger at them for anything, but I imagine pretty much any club's fans in the country would have done similar. Football fans in general can't help themselves when it comes to things like that. Edited April 22 by MarkBRFC 1 Quote

Yep... A lot of depends on how this weekend goes first, but essentially we'll be cheering on the Draw most likely in that match, or a Boro win (if they don't win this weekend). If Coventry win it, then we cannot catch them. Edited April 22 by superniko 1 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 22 Moderation Lead Posted April 22 The pitch invasion, fans of any other club would do the same, to be fair. Fair enough, it sounds like they've been goons with Hamza Choudhury and the Sheff United team bus. Colour me surprised, Dingles behaving like neanderthals.... Quote
KentExile Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Ajayi, Swift & Diangana will be leaving West Brom on frees in the summer Before anyone gets excited, this is because West Brom cannot afford to pay them what they want, so Rovers certainly will not be signing any of them Quote

Bookies suggest 25/1 shot so about 4 in 100 - can't be bothered working out my own odds, but will do so if we're still in the hunt next week. Absolutely bonkers that we can still make it And if we do we will be that team that come from nowhere and take the best form into the play offs Only Rovers could be in the top 6 for a decent chunk of the season and then "come from nowhere" to get in the play offs Won't happen though Quote

We have to hope Coventry don't win either game, as if they do, we can't catch them. If Boro won on Saturday though, it would need to be a draw, come what may, as a won for either side, means, we can't catch one of them and then, we would be relying on Bristol City losing both or losing and drawing. 1 Quote
davulsukur Posted April 22 Posted April 22 If you'd like to torture yourself further, there is a championship predictor here: https://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-championship/ Where you can play about with the last 2 results and see where Rovers end up. I had us down for 7th because Millwall somehow beat the Dingles 0-8 in their last game. 2 Quote

I always thought highly of Swift but if West Brom can’t afford his wages there’s no hope we’re paying him what he wants. Quote

Seem to remember our 'fans' at the end of the Oxford match (last match of the L1 season) showing huge restraint and obeying all requests not to invade the pitch 😉 Quote
Penwortham Blue Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Obviously not a fan, given his Knob End / Dingle connections, but listened to David Unsworth tonight on Radio Lancashire. He said that he felt like driving down to Brockhall and physically shaking the Rovers players as they had thrown away the chance to get the club promoted and really needed to take a good look at themselves after not dealing with Eustace leaving. He questioned how the senior players had let it happen and questioned the mentality of them, faced with adversity they should have been fired up. I have to agree with him, very few real leaders and I definitely include the skipper, Travis in that category. 1 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I work with fans of a variety of north west clubs. A typical response from any of them at the mention of B*rnley is 'Dick'eds, that lot'. 1 Quote
