MarkBRFC Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Great scenes for Sunderland. Just a shame it's something we will never see again. 3 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted 5 hours ago Backroom Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Sheff United have absolutely bottled this season there’s no doubt Sunderland’s promotion has similarities to ours with their terrible run going into the play offs Edited 5 hours ago by Tom 2 Quote
davulsukur Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Absolutely hilarious that Sheff Utd bottled that! Bad news for the championship though, as there will now be 4 big spenders in the league. Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago goes to show, you can have all the possesion,be the best side and have the better players but if you don`t put the ball in the net it does`nt matter😄 Quote

Backroom Popular Post DE. Posted 5 hours ago Backroom Popular Post Posted 5 hours ago Congrats to Sunderland. An ambitious managerial appointment, backed by the board and owners. Could have been us with both JDT and Eustace. Until we get rid of Venky's, however, we'll just have to repeatedly watch other teams succeed instead. 14 Quote

Others might give it a go too if they're confident in their squads - someone like Boro for example. Quote

Not sure that Sheff Utd can afford to spend big, As they came down from the Prem after 1 season, they only get 2 years parachute payments, not 3, so they might have to start adjusting downwards Quote

They had a deduction this season, and I don’t think they’ve sorted their finances since - gambled on another promotion so expect a big regression there, especially given next season is their final parachute payment year as they only get 2. Sunderland would have spend more, given their likely sale of Bellingham. Edited 5 hours ago by superniko Quote

1874 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago First 50+ Million parachute payment just kicked in for Sheff Utd Quote

If you say so, but to me Davies, Cannon, Moore, Diaz, Campbell etc are nothing but mid-table championship standard but probably all picking up £50k+ Hamer the standout man for them, but he’s surrounded by overpaid shite - their wage bill will be ridiculous Edited 5 hours ago by superniko 1 Quote
simongarnerisgod Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago sunderland will have to spend a lot of money sensibly to have a go at staying in the premier league,i can`t think of any of their players, bar ballard and maybe the goalkeeper hacking it in the top flight Quote

LDRover Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hopefully that puts Sheffield United deep in the shit. They gambled big on going up this season and it could lead to troubled times there. Good. 1 Quote

Real shame for Wilder, such a likable chap. 😁 Quote
