joey_big_nose Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 We're breaking the press really well... But don't really have the cutting edge to make the most of it. WBA are so high we are desperate for some real pace. 1 Quote
London blue Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 They're playing high because we have no pace, it's a luxury teams don't often get. 2 Quote
Bethnal Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 We’re poor at playing out from the back, neither CB or GK like it. Cantwell’s a clear level above his teammates, they just don’t have the same quality. 1 Quote
davulsukur Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Excellent from Cantwell. But now we're sticking Crosses in and Gueye is on the bench 🤦♂️ 2 Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 What the fuck kind of defending is this Quote

LDRover Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Worrying for us if Carter is out for some time. 4 Quote
Mercer Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Another poor watch. Other than Cantwell, where is the quality offensively? Don't get me going about Dolan - IMO, piss poor yet again. Very lucky still to be in this. Eustace needs to break out of his straitjacket. 3 Quote

Luckily that Cantwell is getting up to speed because without we've got literally nothing. 1 Quote

Cantwell’s best work will be done in the middle. Either shunt Dolan out wide or switch him out. He can’t deliver consistently. Quote
LDRover Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Cantwell is so far ahead of his team mates quality wise it's frightening. West Brom targeting Beck and getting a lot of joy. The lad needs to tighten up defensively tonight. 2 Quote
RTM08 Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Eventually we're going to start getting punished for these performances. We've been shocking since the Bristol City game, and I'm not entirely sure why. Quote
joey_big_nose Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 I think id give Gueye a go for his pace as much as anything Quote
grinder Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 They look bigger stronger and quicker to the ball so far- we'll do well to get a point Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Cantwell improving everytime I see him. JRC looking better which is nice to see Beck solid as always Everything else a bit meh 3 Quote
moerpho Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Pretty much as expected. I'll gladly settle for 0-0 Quote

lraC Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 It’s been lack lustre, but we have managed to get away with a couple of shaky moments at the back. We look dangerous with Cantwell on the ball, in particular when he switches to the right. We could easily sneak this and wouldn’t be too surprised to see JRC hit the target. He’s had the two best chances and has teamed up well with Cantwell twice. Quote
