I have no doubt if this bloke stays he will take us down.

We havent got the best squad so we need a Head Coach who can over perform and produce something better than the sum of its parts.

This fellas the polar opposite imo.

We had one of those about 10 months ago. But of course, he was far too ambitious for this lot.

You can sack him yes. It’s very difficult to back him TBH. It won’t make any difference though. 
 

The fundamentals at the club give his replacement virtually no chance of success. He wouldn’t get backed properly, he wouldn’t be allowed to have much, if any say on sales or incomings. The people above are a bunch of chancers only in it for themselves. Rovers aren’t just one fix away from succeeding in any way. In all my time supporting the club, in seasons where we struggle there was always some hope. Maybe key players were out, maybe there were easier fixtures ahead. Or maybe a decent signing in the next window would have an effect.

I don’t feel this way ATM. People saying today we’re in trouble. We’ve been in trouble since this crew turned up.

Don't see much merit in sacking Ismael.  He's a yes man but at least he's a proper manager, who knows what the alternative would be. 

I know we've struggled with seeing games out but I don't think there's many games I disagree with his subs, it's just the subs are shite. 

It's like asking a general to fight a war with dads army on the front lines.  You can't pad a military out with bits and bobs.

They will almost certainly hire a worse manager. Any decent manager won’t touch it. It doesn’t take a genius to see it’s an impossible task. 

We don’t really need to do anything if you’re happy not to watch Rovers at Ewood for somewhere between 5 and 10 years. They’ll leave themselves no option but administration if we leave them to it. They’re totally incapable of running a successful football club. The crowds will continue to reduce, the inevitable relegation(s) will come, the budgets will get smaller and smaller and eventually we’ll start again.

Given the contract he is on it would probably be cheaper to get him a couple of decent players in Jan than sack him and hire another from the same bin.

They much prefer forcing the managers hand so that they walk, or better yet, either find another club, so that they can get some compo, or offer to buy out their own contract to escape

First the "offer" of giving up January transfer money to fix the pitch, now this, contradictory though they are.

Is this Ismael distancing himself from Pasha/Gestade and trying to appea directly to the owners?

Is some decisive moment coming or am I just wishful thinking? (again)

Arguably VI has had it worse in a way - they sold/lost half of his starting team in one window and brought in the calibre of de neve, Sidnei and henriksson, plus a lad who would miss a third of the season. JDT and JE didn't face that level of mismanagement.

It's still ridiculous to think we appointed him in the first place considering where we were when he got the job.

Of course not. Even if we had been bottom 6 in February he was still lucky to get the job after his recent tenures.

But then we should remember that promotion was never on the agenda here, so they weren't looking for someone to keep us up there or get us up. Eustace created a problem for them last season and everything they've done since then has been to ensure it doesn't happen again, forcing him out, dismantling his squad, selling key players to Derby, Wrexham, Middlesbrough etc.

Its was always going to be overseas appointment after Eustace cos that's was direction of travel in terms of transfers.

Final 2 choices were Ismael and Wagner. Would things been different if we appoint Wagner instead

Yes so he needs an offer from some Polish or Saudi club so he can afford to buy out his contract.

Can't see it though as despite the odd strop i think he's happy here it's easy money really because he has a bucket full of excuses and we all know we are in the shit anyway.

What happens is nothing more than expected so he can just shrug his shoulders and see out his contract.
