If and it's obviously a huge IF they were to act it won't be until after the window, never is.

Could well be back in the bottom 3 by then but in this death by a 1000 cuts realm we are in i can see him getting a win v Watford in front of about 6k.

To me i see him and Gestede as a pair and it's no point potting one without the other but that'll be some serious pay off.

Can we organise a whip round?

Ismael isnt the problem here. The problem is the owners simply have no aims for the club, no ambition.

If they were to be ambitious and had the mindset that failure won’t be tolerated, it would spread right across the board. They could have that drive for us but they don’t. They can do something about it but they won’t. The happy clappers who support the Venkys are just plain blind. Yes they support us in some ways financially but it’s utterly pointless. What use is it when they otherwise don’t give a damn? There’ll be more and more posts like Devon Rovers.

Maybe we can ask the league to postpone all our games until we've got players back from injury (and the weather improves so the pitch can cope). That way we will be fine.

Val is the least of our problems, but we may as well throw the dice and get rid now. A pragmatist like Rowett would give us the best chance of survival now. Having said that, there doesn't appear to be the slightest pressure on the manager as we are not a normal/functioning club.

If the owners were ambitious we’d never have hired Ismael. His record speaks for itself.

Get him and Rudy out of here now!

The enthusiasm and passion of the fans is definitely depleted, and seeing socials reaction patience too

Gestede & Pasha need fucking pelting at the next home game! They should be getting a boat load of shit for 90 mins as the bare minimum.

Agree, but as the next home game is the boycott game, I suspect the Rovers fans attending will happily sit on their hands, even if Rovers lose.

Yep that's the strength of it.

He's not even a fire fighter like Eustace or a steady Eddie like TM he had all the cv of a short term unemployed, cheap roll of the dice gaffer.

Guys like him are usually short term as his back catalogue suggests but these lot saw fit to give him 3+ years.

Which quite honestly stinks to high heaven unless there are some get out clauses for both sides.

Wonder who's more unsackable, Ismael or the fella at Morecambe? Every time I see him that guy talking about a defeat 😂

Ismael is the most unsackable manager in professional football, because results, performances, league position do not matter at this club

I am not so sure on that , not many game changers injured mostly dross , signed by Gestede !

Listening to his interview he has basically just written off this month due to injuries and doesn’t seem assed about results or performances till players come back.

He's part of one of our problems.

Our biggest problem is the owners and the incompetence of our senior leadership. Until that problem is solved, we have no chance of being a properly run football club.

However, we now have a second problem, which is a lack of quality in our manager and our playing squad. Both of those have been caused by problem number one, but we saw under Eustace and JDT that a good manager can reduce the impact of the bad ownership and senior management.

Any good manager will eventually leave, but we don't have to be totally resigned to the fact that we will have awful managers until our owners change.

Ismael is an awful manager. The tactics he sets us up with never work. Our players don't seem to be on the same page. He also never makes substitutions or changes during a match that positively impact the outcome. In fact, most matches he just stands on the touchline and watches matches drift by.

He shouldn't get a pass just because our owners and various 'heads of' are sinking the ship. He is watching the ship go down, and, instead of throwing lifevests into the water, he is standing at the helm steering us directly towards an iceberg.

Ismael is absolutely shite at his job.

Problem is, so are the people choosing his successor.

This is a really bold statement and not one I ever wanted to have to make about the club I love, but:

I have absolutely no confidence in the competence of anyone in a senior role for Blackburn Rovers Football Club and Athletic PLC.
Could probably extend that to people in positions below those senior ones too.
Not a shred of competence knocking about.

And blame the boycotters for the defeat.

I am lucky , I will not witness a live game til February , thank god !

I might not even bother then !

I can’t believe that people think the removal of Ismael is the answer.. there will be no answer until this regime is gone. If some still cannot see the need for the boycott now…they never will.

This is how the club will “ function “ from now on in…without soul , hope ,care ,  dignity or respect .
