Venky's just continue to be a huge embarrassment for the club and seem determined to drive us further and further down.

We'll be a league one club soon enough.

Again, we go from one of best midfielders outside big clubs in Netherlands, to a Sunderland youth guy they only signed from Aussie land last year and immediately shipped to Scotland.

So yesterday's news is the Polish cb seems to think Rovers was a non Starter - as did most of us - and we can add Oxford United to the ever-growing list of clubs we can't compete financially with.  

Not a sniff of contract renewals.

Yes there are some jobs need doing around the stadium, etc but that down to Rovers owners and management authorising for the work to get done and financing it.

Yes some staff and left but their roles have been advertised or filled already. Did I want those good people to go who have been here for years of course not but their roles are still there and been advertised last month. 

The transfers fees that we have received over the last 2 years have gone to fund the losses the club have made over those 2 years. 

final point, nowhere have I said everything is hunky dory have I but I reply to your skint comment which isn't true as I said but we want the club to be run very differently and under new owners with people who know what the clubs means, be here to run the club and make the club the heartbeat of the community.

The Sunderland player has a lot of talent and I certainly wouldn’t be turning my nose up at him especially at the price

When Venkys took over this club, Oxford has just been promoted back to the football league after 4 years in the Conference.

Now 15 years later, we can't even compete with them when it comes to signing/buying players.

Sums up this regime perfectly.

We don't have a pot to piss in. Free transfers and loans is all I expect. I also don't believe we paid any more than a few 100k for the two lads we have signed spread over 3-4 years to make it affordable.

What worries me most is we aren't being linked with any frees or loans as at least these could be achievable. Players worth £4m is laughable to be linked with.

Kaminski has gone for a million but Charlton are paying him big as far as i can deduce from the many comments on it.

Rovers imo think they'll get around 2 million for Travis so won't commit to more than that in a bid for any midfielder who'll also have to come in on lower wages.

Gestede's exciting summer is akin to someone being told Blackpool is the Las Palmas of the North only to arrive and find it's £7 for an ice cream, £8 for a pint, fish and chips is £20 and it rains all week on the turd ridden beach.

Harsh reality Rudy when you turn up with only a taxi fare in your pocket.

We're not even in the market for good free transfers at this level.

Wages/signing on fee rules us out.

Only players we are signing are like the ones already done

• 100-400k over the course of a 3 year deal
• Transfer fee made up of add ons that will never come to fruition
• Willing to accept wages of 5k per week
• Players that nobody else wants

They will be complimented by a few loans of premier league kids and Cauley Woodrow types.

I don't think many will disagree.

It's no good some fans bellyaching and then continuing to buy season tickets swallowing the, IMO, complete bullsh1t flowing out of the mouths of Pasha and Gestede.

Other clubs' fans have shown how it's done and how pressure can successfully be brought to bear. 

Time all fans gave @glen9mullanand coalition full backing and more, otherwise it might well be 150 years and out.

They want us in the Championship for ever, not above or below. No idea why but it's as clear as can be. All sales, failed registrations, contract wind-downs and 'purchases' all evidence this along with their exquisitely judged timings. All the wood is behind the arrowhead IMO. It's as clear as can be to those with eyes and a willingness to look. We're in this league and going nowhere. EVER.

Maintained it all along that League One is the end goal.

Hence only a handful of players contracted past June 2027 as things stand.

They want a third division side run on 90% academy players on very low wages, complimented by the odd loan and foreign second/third division prospect topping the squad up.

Loads more redundancies at the club to cut costs more, less fans around to complain about things. Eventually we disappear even more out of the spotlight.

All depends for me when we actually get there, if they keep the lads out of contract next summer and just let them walk away for free I think we can be fairly competitive again at this level next season, sell them and replace with more cheap, young foreign imports and I think we could be in a lot of trouble this season.
