Ww will all judge him on the pitch when he plays. But it'll be a bit late then if he's rubbish or very ordinary.

I'd prefer to keep both Kronstadt and Travis thanks. I've seen them on the pitch and I 'm very happy with them. They are clearly good quality Championship players with nothing to prove. Hard to think we could afford anyone better or even as good.

But you seem to prefer risk-taking and to trust the people who make these decisions. I don't.

I have never said that anyone is not aligned. I have repeatedly said that we can not possibly know either way, especially so soon. So thats wrong.

I have never once said that I dont want youth players to be given a chance. I do not want arbitary targets to be set or assumptions made that we can "rely" upon players that arent yet proven. So thats wrong.

And why are my predictions (if I said that) relevant to how you judge the transfer window? 90% of business done 2 weeks ago was a target (2 in, one of whom is injured). Key contracts sorted should have long since been a target. Even Batth and Weimann have left unexpectedly. Yet you gloat that despite all that, at least we may have done slightly more than what people on here thought we would. Talk about low standards.

Funny how Rovers make a signing and fees are seemingly substantially inflated only for transfer fee to be listed as "undisclosed" !!!  I think there is a huge stench of bullsh1t that emanates from Ewood Park and sadly many of our supporters are mystifyingly intoxicated by it!!!

Think our market is clearly cheap and cheerful and usually unproven.

The only way Taveres deal comes close to the reported 2 mill fee is that the overall deal with wage/bonuses/add ons are all in. Some sites have him earning  5k per week at old club. Little pay rise at Rovers would take him around 1 mill over the course of 3 seasons. Then whatever fee and bonuses on top

Serious though, I think Eustace has a lot of pull with our players combined with a decent payrise, we could be in trouble.

Brittain is an excellent full back and we will absolutely not be able to replace him with a better player, or even one of equal abiity.

I can't see this happening... not this summer, anyway.  Surely even the clowns at Rovers know that this would go down disastrously with the fanbase, not to mention there'll be a fair amount of animosity towards Derby and Eustace in the Rovers boardroom.  If said clowns decide to sell him to keep the lights on then I'd imagine Derby would be bottom of the list of clubs they'd be accepting bids from, and you'd assume there would be plenty of interest in Brittain across the division. 

Next year might be a completely different story, when another of our better players walks away for sweet FA and can decide where he wants to move.

Issue is; If Derby offer even a semi-decent amount of cash for Brittain - the muppets running the Club will snatch their hand off without hesitation.

Doesn't matter if it's below his actual market value, or the fact that it'll massively weaken the squad... it'll be considered a win regardless, since it'll delay the owners having to pay their own bills and help lower the wages.
