So Bet 365 have us finishing 20 points behind the play offs. 

Probably about right, but in the unlikely event VI gets it almost right and we replicated last season's finish, +32 wouldn't be far off winning.

Ipswich apparently signing Hackney from Boro for over £20M.  Which you would imagine will leave Boro with the funds to buy Brittain

On a side note, how is an inferior player, moving to a Championship club for more than Wharton moved to Palace?  Are some still trying to claim that we got a good deal?

Andy Brassell was saying on Talksport on Sunday that there were rumours of Spurs interest in Wharton but Palace didn't want to sell and they would demand £80 -£90m for him which would rule it out.

He thought if he had another great season then the really big boys would be back in for him in 12 months at that sort of level.

But £18m was a great price of course.

I was watching something earlier rating clubs away kits and it said 7 teams hadn't even released one yet with a week to go till the new season 😕 not sure if it was 100% accurate, Sheff Weds were one though, maybe they'll just play in 'skins'?

I don't see why kits need to be changed every year. They never used to be. 

Anything to keep the sham going I suppose, regardless of the toxic holocaust it reaps upon the earth.

It’s certainly not needed, but I’m sure it’s a nice little revenue stream for the club, particularly these days with football tops being both fashionable and collected.

I don't disagree with you but he was up against Fiorentina, who assume (perhaps incorrectly), would be better than a lot of the championship teams. Albeit, I have no idea where they are in their pre-season preparations.

Most overrated goal was Michael Owen against Argentina.  Wasn't even an attempt to tackle him and the commentators acted like he had done a Maradona 86

I had a quick look at their line up and pretty much all of their better players were on the bench - they're playing Forest tomorrow and United on Saturday.
