Really deserved but a huge blow for us.

Where we go? Isn't Carter back shortly. Maybe next week. 

I would be tempt to go back 4-2-3-1 with TGH at right back, Miller and McLoughlin at centre back with Ribeiro at left back. Unless Carter is back and till 1st of January when we recall O'Riordan back

Carter has played 1 senior game this season, and that was 3 months ago, he hasn't even featured for the U21s since August.  He will not be ready to start,

They have already brought him back from injury too early twice this season, so will be cautious of doing so again.  As such, I would be amazed if we even see him on the bench much before new year

Seems a bit of a generalisation, and not something I'd heard of. And in Alebiosu's case, it was reported he had to apply for a Nigerian passport months ago in order to be eligible, so hardly a shock to him.

Great news for the lad. From no-where really, complete unknown when signed, no real club pedigree...to performing like he has and now a soon to be international. Good on him.

Fuck me though, our squad is in bits at the moment. I know our owners have asset stripped for years, and the summer window was an abomination....but that must be 8 or 9 first teamers unavailable now. Any championship side would struggle with that.

We have needed him from the start of the season, especially when Hyam was sold.

His body is incapable of being a Championship footballer.

I'm sure Ismael was asked in an interview (BBC Lancs, i think) about Carter suggesting on social media that he's nearly back, VI responded saying he was still some way off yet and his post was more likely regarding being mentally on the right track. 

I think Carter is still some months away from a return.

I think the most likely option to replace Alebiosu at RWB would be Hedges shifted over and De Neve/Yuri play on the left.

TGH is a possibility but there is no one left to play CM if he goes.

I've seen enough of Hedges at RWB to last me a lifetime, that dingles away performance was the stuff of nightmares.

TGH out to the right, and then Tronstad and Baradji in the middle maybe.

Seeing as we are playing the predicting game 

I think that if/when Tronstad is back, it will be TGH at RWB, or if Tronstad isn't ready yet, then Litherland/Atcheson will be brought in at at RCB with Miller moving to RWB

Also have a sneaking suspicion that unless Hedges is fit, De Neve will be brought in at LWB, with Ribeiro as LCB, and Pratt relegated to the bench...  Nothing against Pratt, but think De Neve may be seen as covering for the pace lost by Alebiosu not being with us, whilst Ribeiro is more natural to cover for De Neves lack of positional awareness down our left side.

I believe Alebiosu is still available this weekend. if so, then any predictions are as of the Millwall game next weekend

He does play at right wing back for Australia.  Not that I have watched those, so I couldn't tell you how well he fits that role

He was playing right back/wing back for Hibs and Australia. 

He isn't going to be attacking right wing back/right back as Alebiosu but I think he is than capable of filling in for him until he is back
