superniko Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Leicester bench….probably a higher wage bill there than our whole squad. From memory they financially cheated the year they were promoted but the EFL did nothing as they went up. I’d imagine bad times are coming for them now. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 We look a bit shaky defensively but I thought that was a very good away performance in the first half. Ohashi having his best game of the season, De Neve and Alebiosu looking lively on the flanks. Pity Gudjohnssen's decision making lets him down at times but it doesn't really matter if he can keep popping up in the right place at the right time to score. 2 Quote

But the front 2 have been a danger and we I think needed to kill the game when we sensed blood after goal. Gudjohnsen is a hard player to figure out. Id say thats his best 45 minutes in a Rovers shirt, nice finish and some of his hold up play has been a level or 2 above what I have seen so far, last weeks goal seems to have given him confidence. But there have been bits of poor play within there too, being too weak and that sloppy pass to Ohashi at the end. Ohashi has been better this week so far too, theyve posed problems. There are worries beyond that, Wharton again feels like a mistake waiting to happen and I think Henriksson needs to come off before he is sent off. The next goal is key, we cant afford to throw away another lead and Leicester have been poor and the crowd is on their back. Wharton's playing well. 1 Quote
booth Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Good first half overall and De Neve had a great spell, but I think like everyone I'm expecting them to get one. He needs to take Axel off. Yellow card and his play was getting worse as the half went on. I hope Yuki can get a goal. Quote
Paul Mellelieu Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 They should of course be toasting us, but we look like we might score, which must be putting them under pressure. Can't see us keeping the lead though. Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Henkrikson off, good decision from VI Thought De Neve did quit3 well so surprised Hedges is on instead Quote
superniko Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Don’t mind those changes, though I would have stuck with De Neve for a bit longer unless he’s injured. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted November 1, 2025 Backroom Posted November 1, 2025 Good decision bringing Henriksson off. Odd half we were hanging on, smash and grab then battered them for 15 minutes then hanging on again. Quote
Ossydave Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Decent enough. Hard to believe Leicester will be that bad all second half though, or their shots so wayward! Smart move taking Henriksson off, walking red card and offering nothing. The helicopter needs an appearance today ideally here! Quote
CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 What the fuck was that!?! Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Pretty big chance there. Should've hit the target. Quote
Ferrit Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Terrible miss, that could well come back to bite us.... so much time he can take a touch 2 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted November 1, 2025 Backroom Posted November 1, 2025 (edited) Huuuuuuge chance that has to be a goal or making the keeper work at a minimum Edited November 1, 2025 by Tom Quote
neophox Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Gardner Hickman missing a sitter ...gosh Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 2 subs......wouldnt actually have changed anything at this stage unless they were enforced through injury. Edit.....Arggghhhh! Hickman! That could prove very costly. Quote
DackDackGoose Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Good changes, yuki looks up for it so hoping for some good link up play with morishita. I thought Wharton has looked v solid more worried about mcloughlin getting turned inside out Quote
Exiled_Rover Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Got to hit the target there, TGH!!! Quote
superniko Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 That was it, that was the chance. So so poor Quote

USABlue Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 God we are shit, he should have at least hit the target. Bad very bad. Quote
davulsukur Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 Assume De Neve is injured and Henrikson was brought off due the Yellow card. Quote

neophox Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 McLaughlin having a tough time with Fatawu yellow Quote
AspRover Posted November 1, 2025 Posted November 1, 2025 We've kind of assembled a team of 'almost pretty good' players - Yuki, Henriksson, De Neve, Gudjohnson, Morishita (and probably a few more) all look like they could be genuinely decent but then they miss a sitter/aren't in the right area/fluff a pass/give a silly foul (delete as appropriate). If one or two of them clicks and finds a run of form we could suddenly be a much stronger prospect. 5 Quote
