Small kit detail I've only just noticed. Would of been better to release this on this kit from the start of season rather than being able to go and get it printed on after initial sales

I see taveres is getting a kicking, and I agree from what iv seen  don’t think he is good enough but could quite easily say the same about

henrikson

kargbo

gueye

de neve

id happily sell all of them in January if they were to be replaced by actual championship quality because iv seen enough from them all to know they don’t have it

gudjohnson im still on the fence about but really needs to be doing more , its boom or bust at the moment

Yeah, our run of bad form usually kicks in about this time of the season. What's up with Tavares? Unbelievable that he didn't made the bench today if he's not out with injury (which is bad in itself).

He did make the bench

You've seen from Henriksson, who's come from what you'd imagine is a very physical Swedish league, and is struggling to get up to the speed and physicality of the game - it just isn't.

The Championship is full of the best paid cloggers on Earth. It's unbelievably physical.

Yeh, this oft repeated notion that worse quality football is automatically more physical is silly.

All in that list bar De Neve he's been good of late and a useful tool running at defenders

De Neve is one of the poorest footballers I have ever seen.

He can run at defenders and fool us into thinking its an asset because its been so long that we have seen anyone do it from that side.

If he's a useful tool there's probably a job for him in the boardroom if he wants it.

(Useful being to Venkys rather than us of course, the ones we have are certainly useless tools in reality)

The game reminded me of one from years ago late in the FA Cup under Appleton I think it was. We were playing Millwall (was it to reach the semis and a first Wembley appearance?) and we spent the entire game launching the ball straight onto Danny Shittu's head. Definition of insanity doing the same thing on repeat and expecting a different result.

We must have had launched almost 20 long throws into their area along with around 15 corners without making first contact once. Derby on the other hand had about 3 corners and scored from one of them. Clueless.

I think pears could of done better on that second goal his little rabbit flap was ineffective and no where near the ball

He, or anyone else, had no chance.

On the long throw in aspect it was frankly pathetic. Miller can regularly hit the near post with with some accuracy and pace. So the best header of the ball, McLoughlin was usually on the far post which nullified any danger we might have posed. I can't recall one attacking throw where we got the first contact.

And our corners were generally poor too. De Neve took two corners in quick succession in the second half, one must about made it to the near post the other went that long it almost went out for a throw.

Ventre really has his work cut out. I noticed he was prominent in the Technical Area for our set plays but it's too early to apportion and blame into him. He now has two weeks to improve an aspect of our game that frankly has been shocking so far.

I think it summarises how truly doomed we are if Forshaw walks into this current midfield, this team lacks so much quality.

VENKYS OUT! PASHA OUT! GESTEDE OUT!

I think it’s gross negligence now if we see any of Hendrikson, Tavares or Forshaw starting ahead of Montgomery for the remainder of the season. I’m seeing absolutely nothing from TGH either.
Centre midfield is incredibly weak, as is centre back. Pretty flimsy “spine”

The midfield is sorely missing Travis and Hyam and Baath were big losses from the defence. I don’t think we would have conceded those goals with those 2 playing yesterday. You cannot lose 3 players like that and hope to replace them with players who are not as good and not struggle.

I saw some daft posts on Facebook yesterday where fans were saying we’re unlikely to make the playoffs this season. It still hasn’t hit home that the 3 recent wins notwithstanding we’re in a desperate battle to avoid relegation.

On another note Baath isn’t getting in the Derby team - can we have him back on loan? I’m sure with his love for the club jolly John Eustace would agree

Why would we want to get loans of players from last seasons squad when this season the squad is "better"

Can we get David Bentley back, I don't care if he sits on a deck chair by the corner flag and just takes free kicks and corners.

Dont forget the invisible Baradji.

Only Alebiosu from the summer is a success really. The others range fron average/underwhelming to wastes of time.

I assume this is tongue in cheek. If you’re being serious you must be one of the deluded Facebook posters

If he or Henriksson offered for the ball in midfield, the CBs wouldn't have to keep playing hopeful 60 yard balls into the forward line..... terrible setup today asking defenders to do things they aren't good enough for. Still major question marks over the manager, whoever signed Tavares and whoever sanctioned the Hyam sale.

They offer for the pass from the central defence ok but then they give them the ball back straight away. I was sat there yesterday watching both teams either put ball after ball out of play or to an opponent and the thought came into my head - the increase in the level of athleticism in modern football has not been matched by an increase in the level of footballing ability. That’s in spite of the modern pitches being like bowling greens, the ball being lighter, the refs protecting the skilful players etc.  Now that “ playing out from the back “ appears to have fallen out of fashion we’ve no coherent plans to replace it.

It clearly is Jim. Based on people arguing that this squad is better than last year.

I don’t think Baath is the answer as a starting player. I think Derby have found that out if they’re starting with Sanderson instead of him. Handy to bring on for the last 10 minutes though if you’re holding on to a slender lead.

Specifically Rudy from what I recall.

Never should have been allowed near transfers, should never be allowed again. Shambolic.

It's in inverted commas I thought that was enough to highlight sarcasm.

This squad is as bad as I can remember

The manager is Owen Coyle level

The management is as bad as it had ever been.

The owners are literally victimising us at this stage like a rapist insisting there accuser takes the stand so they can cross examine them.

Hope that makes my position clear.

MGP's dead ball deliveries yesterday were still infinitely better than anything we have seen at Ewood for years.
