Yes in recent years our undoing has been against the struggling teams!  Perhaps we aren't set up to take a game to an opponent?

This is a must win - give us some breathing space and chance to build on recent performances - surely, come on Rovers!

Processing time. Another indication that they think the fans are thick and will swallow anything told to them.

When they played Derby on the 15th December, away tickets were still on sale upto 12pm on that day with no break inbetween.

Why didn't they need more time for processing?

As has been said by many, this just isn't a serious operation anymore.

I hope Wednesday issue their own statement in response. 

 

It might be true to a degree but surely latitude within the rules is allowed to cater for things like last minute sales and Holidays periods and Offices being shut when you wish to make online sales.

I suspect they're quoting the absolute letter of the law there in a vain attempt to cover their arses.

Imagine a fair few have fucked it off anyway now and made alternate plans. I'm working so wouldn't be going anyway, if I was free I WOULD have been tempted though after an enjoyable day out at Boro.

It still boils down to the fact that they can’t process it and send it to Wednesday as they have nobody working today or tomorrow. 
 

Let’s be honest. It will be a case of download a file, import it onto a system and then forward it on. It’s not like someone will be manually typing 500 barcodes in.

Smacks of a delaying statement. There were always going to be no on the day sales. Less than six hours to sort it out. Not happening. Just raises some fans hopes to dash them again.

Yes, I said so yesterday, I also rang the Wednesday ticket office, as did my daughter and let them know the situation and how ridiculous it is. The lady who answered said they would do what they could.

Since then Rovers have said they're going to try to resolve the issue,for which I'm glad. I don't see how that is controversial.

They've been reading the negative stuff on here and elsewhere and are trying to cover their arses - nothing else

There'll be a statement tomorrow saying "despite their best efforts" and it wasn't their fault no more tickets will be available

Hopefully Sheff Wed will also release a statement stating the true facts

I won't be filling the tank up just yet, but I'm slightly more optimistic given that there's willing on both sides.
