Well technically, Tronstad is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club starting today as he has less than six months left remaining on his current one. Pretty certain we won't get any fee even if we tried. Kinda like what happened to Brereton Diaz a few seasons ago when he left for Villareal.

Will Tronstad 'down tools' and start playing poorly just like Brereton Diaz did? Would think he's a bit more professional than that but who knows.
