That’s because for the Millwall game there were about 7000 home fans. Concourse in JW was quiet today. Seats around me were still available. Blackburn End once again looked sparse. It didn’t feel ‘busy’ at all, albeit better than Millwall, Ipswich, Oxford.

Riverside looked a bit busier to be fair. Either way for our “big” holiday fixture it was poor. Then again it was £35 for a lunchtime, Sky kick off.

Upper JW looks more busy and BBE was.

special mention to henrikson today, who managed to get through 90 minutes without actually going near the ball, that lad is so lacking in ability it`s cruel to see him out there

Prior to today, I've been saying he's the worst player I've seen in a Rovers shirt.

I felt sorry for him today. He worked hard in my opinion, but only got 26 touches of the ball. He's clearly not a striker and the service to our front men is non existent.

Didn’t really know where to post this but here’s is as good as anywhere.

I’ve reached the point where I see the community we have on here as the only good thing about being a Rovers fan.

This comment hits home hard this Cold morning...feels like the Club we all love is a lost cause.

Will be interesting to see the attendance on Sunday!!

Police figure attendance could be less than 6000, the day before the nation, goes back to work and it will be bloody freezing!

Oh my...  we have had plenty of low moments, but this is absolutely up there.

With Norwich rising, we are going to need to pull out some performances from somewhere, somehow (which to be fair we have done a few times this season (weather limited)) - absolute dross.

Clearly a lack of strikers isn't helping - this isn't a surprise it has been the case for a few weeks, so why on earth hadn't they got someone lined up for the second the window opened?  It'll be the same XI again and again at this rate, with ever diminishing returns.

I thought today confirmed the opinion I had after Monday night - too many of our players are out on their feet.  The injuries have caught up with us and not allowed us to rotate and rest players.  Having said that, the first goal was a poor one to give away as  McLoughlin and Pears ought to have done better.

We badly need strengthening early in this window and certainly can't afford to lose Tronstad.  I still believe we have enough about us to avoid the drop but we need to get the injured players back sooner rather than later.

The injuries certainly haven't helped.

What is catching up with us far more though, is the self inflicted absence of sufficient depth or quality within the squad.

Cant be same XI, Litherland out for 5 to 6 weeks.

Had someone lined up but Barnsley wont accept a bid of £1000.00 for their star player [the significent six figure bid]

glad i wasnt awake to watch this one

You didn't miss anything. A state of induced coma might be a decent option for consideration in the run down to the end of the season.

VENKYS OUT!

SUHAIL PASHA OUT!

KNOBHEAD WITH SHORT TROUSERS AND ANKLE SOCKS OUT!

we could do with Lewis Travis right now who the majority were happy to see the back of…

Some on here said Taveres was an upgrade.

What are the flashes? What attributes has he shown to suggest that there is something to work with?

I like his attitude, and unlike the dossers of De Neve and Tavares he puts in a shift - 2nd half yesterday he ran everywhere with zero service..You have Ohashi who is meant to be a striker and thought he looked worse.

As i said, he was highly rated at his old club in an okay league so there's definitely something to work with...Maybe if we start him in his position on a run of games we can access him more accurately.

He's a grafter and does have the ability to pick a good pass. "Worst player in a rovers shirt" and "Worst signing we've made" is far fetched IMO.

Just imagine if we could combine De Neves pace, with Henriksson's work rate, and Tavares'... erm, ability to kick the ball better than the other 2, and we would have, 1 player who is almost some use late on off the bench

have to agree, he works hard but yesterday he looked knackered. So did most of the team, hence why I was surprise we didn't see some changes in the starting line up

Of course that is the end product of underinvestment by our ever absent so-called Owners...you reap what you sow.Its a piss poor squad running on empty.

I still feel many, the Lollypops and Lemonade Brigade as I like to call them, still haven't come to terms with that salient point.

I donnot want to be too harsh.  We had a few good/decent performances prior to yesterday.  Just looked to me like the lack of squad depth is showing now.and rhe injuries keep coming.  Inthought Wrexham were a bit naughty and embellished things twice I saw em.trip.over.their own feet after passing one of our players to draw the foul.  One was a tellow.  Anyway Henrickson useless and I am not impressed at all with Baradji he is simply too lazy for me.  We. looked really spent and with only three recovery days I do not see Charlton being much better.

Also going to stick up for Miller here, albeit limited he was one player who at least gave it effort and looked like he wanted to be there today. Baradji I do like and think once he gets upto speed will be brilliant but will be sold rapidly and replaced with dross.

Is Baradji ours to sell ?

The injury crisis and losing key players like Wharton, Toth, Gudjohnsen, Morishita has affected us.

Losing Gudjohnsen for the last 3 games has cost us massively for me

In Yuki's defence he's been absolutely run into the ground and I wouldn't be surprised if he's covered significantly more ground than the rest of our lads in his time here. He needs a rest bit to get his sharpness back but that requires Rudy doing his job properly.

It's definitely making a major contribution and it has for years if we are being honest. Mowbrays mid winter death spirals weren't helped because of the lack of quality and depth.

Since then the squads have got lighter and lighter (cheaper and cheaper) and quality less and less before we lump fatigue, injuries etc on top.

Shocking way to run a club if you want to be the least bit competitive outside the bottom 3rd.

However it can't go unmentioned Ismaels dreadful home record and most of the performances overall. Him and his staff just don't seem to have a clue at home when the onus is on us.

We should become the first club in history to have 2 separate head coaches, one for home and one for away. Because it's difficult to see how anybody could do any worse at home than him.
