Cashin is the type of footballer who would do well at man city.  Pretty passer. Etc but not a player playing for a team that's fighting a dog fight in the relegation zones

You get a real vibe of just how sick and tired the fan base is when you’ve not watched the game and you have a scan through the forum - nobody kicking off, just pure dejected acceptance of the reality.

sad sad times to be a rovers fan.

Special mention to Cashin:

Scores an OG after 3 mins whilst under absolutely no pressure

Gets caught following the ball and leaves his man to score a second

Should have had a penalty given against him for wiping out their lad in the box

He's fucking atrocious.

I didn't expect to win today, but our best hope was frustrating Ipswich and getting a 0-0. Cashin literally ruined any chance of that happening 3 mins into his league debut. What I'm most annoyed about today is why Cashin or Maclaughlin started ahead of O'Riordan who was excellent away at Hull City. If we are contractually obliged to play Cashin at the expense of our own young players then we deserve everything we get.

The worst in 56 years for me.

Its bazaar Gestede is even in his position. The guy was just a former player brought in as an intern trying to learn the ropes. He’s out director of football operations 1 year after retirement and with zero experience. What other club in the EFL would make someone without any experience at all their DOF?  Absolute madness

Bazaar is right. It's like we got bartered into it by some shifty vendor when we had only intended to buy a jacket.

Early days for Cashin and the worst possible start but i get Grant Hanley vibes, brainless but will throw himself in front of stuff in the box.

Which is pretty much what Brum fans said.

i see something of a jack vale in axel,he appears to do nothing apart from be nowhere near the ball at any time

Little bit harsh. At least Axel works. Vale looked disinterested.

10-20 years experience generally required for the job. We handed to a bloke who had less than 12 months removed from his playing career and no experience at all.

Vi is totally logical in his summary. Soulless, monotone and uninspiring.
Carrick has worked miracles in three days at United. The players clearly enjoyed playing for him.
He was available as a championship manager. Shame.
Players need to be inspired, Eustace had that about him. Making average players feel better about themselves.

We're 1p from relegation with Norwich and Portsmouth winning. Ismael needs to be sacked immediately!

We will be in the bottom 3 by this time next week and I don’t see is getting out either.

If we go down we arent coming back for sometime with this squad. All the better players will leave and we'll be left competing against likewise quality in league 1 remaining there getting ribbed by absolutely every team that comes our way.

20 games left.

20 games. And coming thick n fast they'll be over in a flash.

This team needs to give itself a long hard look in the mirror now. Everyone else can see what they aren't doing, why can't they?

I'm no championship manager but there's a clear lacking in leadership of the pitch and on it. They weren't all fresh ready to go they all looked fooked. Is the training to much? Is it too intense? Because I don't think anyone bar our GK looks like a 90 minute player. Honestly can't see it from any of them.

Disheartened, pissed off with everything.

17th January still on 2 signings. We need reinforcements and we need them now while we have a stretch of games we're we can potentially pull points. Because we arent going to get the chance again this season in this league.

I am afraid after today if there was not a depressing thread about how disinterested you have become with this lot i would have had to started one.

You might think im being hysterical but: Dack,  Gallagher, Buckley,  JRC walk into this side- even now.

Without a doubt !

And the Derby 3 or is it 4 ?

Ismael says it is a better squad , should be sacked for that alone !

Own goal aside I don’t think Cashin had a dreadful game he won some fair decent tackles

attack again was absolutely woeful, Cantwell looked way off it today, Henriksson, as always dreadful, Ohashi runs a lot, great might as well have Mo Farah up front

end of tactics just are not working! Manger change needed
