Hasta Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Thank god Barton is out. Also, apparently Manchester City haven't beaten Blackburn at home in the Premiership for 14 years (I can't find a site to confirm this, but SSN are usually right with these statistics), of course I'm touching wood as I say this. If thats true that would be when we were leading 2-0 only to lose 3-2. What a horrible game that was. To make it worse my cup of coffee got 'coined' at half time.

AxesFirstTouch Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Daily Mirror has judas as being Axed from todays team to concerntrate on his career enhancing move.
Bobby G Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Robert Lee on ART TV in the Middle East right now said "Blackburn I dont really enjoy watching them ever. The game looks to be a boring one on paper, 1-0 or 0-0".
Atomicrover Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 There's the usual industrial estate places between Piccadilly station and Eastlands who will take a fiver off you. You could try the car parks next to Eastlands but they might get full early on Don't try parking on the local streets - there is a match day resident-permit-holders-only scheme in place and you'll get a ticket. Don't even think about the Asda next door to Eastlands. Unless you can take the missus and get her to do the shopping and move the car every 30 minutes. If your legs work OK and you don't fancy paying, your best bet is probably to the east of the ground on the way in from the M60. Thanks for that, much appreciated

Esulx Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 McEveley, Bentley, Tugay and Nonda in Neill (counting his money), Emerton (bench), Mokoena (susp.) and Derbyshire (bench) out
modes98 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 McEveley, Bentley, Tugay and Nonda in Neill (counting his money), Emerton (bench), Mokoena (susp.) and Derbyshire (bench) out Personally i'd move emerton back to right back and drop henchoz. Bentley is a must return, as are nonda and Tugs. edit Line Up: Friedel, Ooijer, Henchoz, Khizanishvili, McEveley, Bentley, Tugay, Savage, Pedersen, Nonda, McCarthy. Subs: Enckelman, Emerton, Gallagher, Derbyshire, Peter. Interesting to note no Jason Brown and a very very attacking bench.
Paul Mellelieu Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 We are slipping down the league just now.
Bobby G Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 When both Ooijer and Savage were available earlier in the season, the former was captain now its reversed seemingly. We are kind of deeming this captain thing meaningless arent we?
Mr. E Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 this has turned into a really big game. Victory will see us into the top half of the table, defeat and we are back in 15th. C'mon Rovers
Mr. E Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 another disallowed goal for Benni. if there was a table on this he'd be top scorer in the league.
tchocky Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Wasnt really though. 15. mins: 3rd unsuccessful backheel by Benni ...
budha Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Any idea why Brett isn't starting? Ooijer is one of the most useless players what comes to attacking or handling the ball and I'm sure he'll be outran a couple of times today on the right.
budha Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Ooijer looks really hurt.. Edit: Corradi pointing his achilles tendon when he explains to MGP.. Edit2: Corradi drops on Ooijers ankle..
Grabbi Graeme Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 stretcher for Ooijer looks like he is in some pain Emerton now on
Finch Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 We cant afford to have Ooijer out at the moment. It looks like a nasty injury
blue/white Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Oh man, if it's an achilles that 'll be most problematic. Might be done for the term.... crap.
James No. 7 Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 Emerton's just what we need right now for a bit of drive and direction in attack. Ooijer has done a good job, though. We're playing exceptionally well with a patient passing game. Hope he's not out of a long time! It looks painful and we really need our defensive stocks well-nourished.
Lathund Posted January 20, 2007 Posted January 20, 2007 It was great, 2 seconds before Bentley crossed the ball the commentator said "We're still waiting for Blackburns first real scoring chance".
