Hughesy
busy watching bumley,he states dunny would not sign a new contract because he hates lardarse, then dunny signs one,i reckon david dunn knows something hughesy does'nt Wrong Dunn doesnt like Sam's tactics - not Sam as a person. He would be a mug to leave his boyhood club just because he doesnt like a tactic....he may be here longer than Sam anyway!

Why would he hate a tactic that was essentially built around him at the start of the season and allowed him to shine?

ihtd
EDIT-Got a bit personal with an insult-in hindsight I'm better than that It's great news about Dunn if he 1)stays injury free (or as close to as possible) 2)rehires whoever got him back in shape in the first place 3)get played in the right position for him and makes that position his own (and not by default like it is now due to a lack of viable alternatives) Otherwise we just have a injury-prone, could-have-been getting paid a nice amount of cash for sod all in terms of return. John
Why would he hate a tactic that was essentially built around him at the start of the season and allowed him to shine? Exactly. He was scoring goals and playing some of his best football for years.

Either that or some specialist has told him that his career at the top is virtually over. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh didums, who does like lardarse, I can think of about 350,000 folk between Darwen and Salford actually Grima. Bobby G
Injured again. Basturk is brought in to play when Dunns not available I am sure.

He would be a mug to leave his boyhood club just because he doesnt like a tactic....he may be here longer than Sam anyway! He made THAT mistake once. He won't make it again. Last time he wouldn't have had long to wait to get rid of a git. Who knows this one.
The Rover of Finland
Dunny´s profile missing on official sites. Hardly means nothing though.
Billy Castell
I do love that turn of phrase Mr. E. Made me smile. Isn't there a German or American bloke who uses placentas or something as well? They all give me that uncomfortable feeling when I think about it. waggy
i would put dunny away till next season now,we are safe and the 2 months dunny was fit he showed how valuble he is to the team, give him a rest and get him as near 100% fit as he can be. mhead
One more outing til end of season....just before the end of the month. He does not have to travel too far but may get a kicking. And he may score before our KEEF gets the winner and joins the legends!

Na, he will only get injured in pre-season anyway - get what we can out of him, starting with the Dingles away!

waggy
chatting to a mate of dunnys yesterday and he reckons dunny can hardly walk the next day after a game due to his back flaring up,anyone who has had a back compliant will know bad backs are very painfull, give the guy a rest, wrap him up in cotton wool till next season
roversmum
Much as I love Dunny this information does not inspire me to believe that it was worth giving him a new contract. If he wasn't able to walk after his last couple of showings (at which, to say the least,he was not at his best) I see another Reid situation developing... waggy
i said at the beginning of the season dunny and reid would be lucky to play 20 league games between them,i think they still have not met that total, dunnys worth keeping for the 2 months he will be fit, reid bye bye
roversmum
Certainly agree with your last comment, Waggy, but not so sure about Dunny. It doesn't look good as if his back is playing up again sadly. It's always worrying when players start to get a run of injuries.

He`s obviously been able to hobble to the bench for the last 2 games and managed to just about get to Ewood last night for the Youth match. Maybe his back is playing up today. SIMON GARNERS 194
Note to Dunny: You have been a good player but by the sound of it fella it may be time to call it a day before you end up permanently in a wheel chair.
sambo
I hope he is saving himself for the performance of a lifetime at the Dingledome.. that's the only game you have to play Dunny
67splitscreen
I'm sort of hoping Basturk makes it for that game and steels the show as Dunn surely would. Imagine the songs we can have for many years to come in memory of another fine victory.
T4E
I hope he is saving himself for the performance of a lifetime at the Dingledome.. that's the only game you have to play Dunny Good point Sam. I'd be happy for him not to play between now and then as long as he manages 90 minutes against the Dingles.
Pedderz0912
Good point Sam. I'd be happy for him not to play between now and then as long as he manages 90 minutes against the Dingles. I agree 100%, If he only plays 1 more game this season it will be v dingles and hopefully he can score the winner again In the meantime get Basturk fit and see what he is made of only 10 games left to see if he worth it for next year ???? Speaking of the burnley game when will we hear back about our application and if theyv been successful or not? Back to Dunn - Get a good pre season under his belt and hit the ground running next season - Even if he only makes 15-20 games next yr He makes such a difference I feel to the whole team... Compare records of when he fit and unfit this season would love to see that?
