Is there no news at all from Venkys? No little snippet or something? There has to be some news! Has to! someone please just go and bug the ###### out of them. they really don't deserve anything in life and should just rot.

Kamy has tweeted that Venky's will be meeting in May to discuss the future of the club. Kamy added that he doesn't think Venky's will sell.

Other than pride, I can't see why Venky's would want to keep it. The biggest fear is that the club will be stuck in a cycle of Venky's refusing to sell the club but do not invest in the team.

Now we see the real story. They have possibly used the clubs own assets ie Samba etc to maybe reduce the debt and run the club. So if we are almost debt free at the end of the season they can pilfer most of that £37 mill. No wonder their f####n hiding in Pune

Which is all good and well for Venky's, but where does that leave the club...?

Maybe debt free? In the championship with hardly any assets worth owt left and nothing to spend probaly. Also with the prospect of running up big debts again just to keep going at that level.

probably in the championship with an empty safe.

Just sending a copy of the 37 million link to Blingy Rao along with a picture of a Bugatti Veyron and an Argos Jewellery catalogue, think he might change his mind about selling?

  • 2 weeks later...

Heard yesterday from someone who works at the club that we ARE in serious financial meltdown. Suggestions are we are keeping it quiet until the end of season. If this is the case and we are going into administration, wouldn't it be better now to declare and lose the ten points and be relegated then start next season with the ten point deduction?

Leeds United filed for administration with only a few days remaining in the 2006–07 season, which automatically triggered a 10 point penalty. This placed Leeds at the bottom of the table and relegated the club, but they were extremely likely to have been relegated anyway. By entering administration during the 2006–07 season, they hoped to avoid starting the 2007–08 season on −10 points. The Football League saw this as a club trying to exploit a loophole and changed the rules. From 2007–08, any club entering administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have their 10 point deduction suspended until the following season. Similarly, if a club were relegated the deduction was also to be suspended until the start of the following season.
