Rover_Shaun Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 No preview as yet so I thought I'd start a topic. Nothing much to say other than this is the kind of game we have thrived on this season (5 wins out of the last 6 against teams in the bottom 5) but recently Peterborough have been in good form. I think we will win this one with a scrappy 2-1, but I also sense that if we don't and it's a poor result and performance it could trigger the return of some discontent. Or am I misinterpreting the mood? COYB!

Blue n White Rover Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I am missing this one, going shopping with the Missus in Clitheroe. Be sure to buy yourself some new pants so you can start wearing them On a more worrying note, shows how far we have fallen if you're going shopping ahead of watching Rovers! On paper, should be a win. Will take a 1-0 win just to get the momentum back.
Mike Graham Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Be sure to buy yourself some new pants so you can start wearing them "pants" that sounds very American. We call them keks around here. No choice re shopping, she will make my life hell otherwise and I am afraid. COYB
broadsword Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 May I be the first to say I couldn't give a @#/? whether we win or lose.
tomphil Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 A grinding 1 - 1 in front of a silent and freezing 13,217.
Rover_Shaun Posted March 1, 2013 Author Posted March 1, 2013 May I be the first to say I couldn't give a @#/? whether we win or lose. Yes. Even I still care about the result even if we do have a poor owners, squad and manager
wampam Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 just hope danny murphy is not playing. doesn't deserve a place for me
jim mk2 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Posh have had some good wins lately and are fighting for their lives down at the bottom. I'm going for a 1-1 draw at best, and if the players are in the same frame of mind as the Leicester debacle it will be a 2-1 defeat.
Backroom Tom Posted March 1, 2013 Backroom Posted March 1, 2013 A lot to lose and little to gain for the manager Most of us will expect to go at them and win, fail to do those things and the questions about a lack of a plan B will get louder I imagine
USABlue Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 2-0 to Posh two headers from crosses into the six yard box. Appleton doing his best Kean impression with hands in pockets looking gormless. Just don't lose the second half.
onlyonejackwalker Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Shows how far we have fallen when fans are predicting home defeats to the likes of Peterborough! What a farce. Destroyed in two clueless years. Struggling at the back, struggling in the middle, struggling upfront. Struggling all over the place. 1.1
darrenrover Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I'll buck the trend and go for 3 - 0 Rovers. Rhodes, Dann, Bentley. should be a 500/1 punt!
perthblue02 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 A lot to lose and little to gain for the manager Most of us will expect to go at them and win, fail to do those things and the questions about a lack of a plan B will get louder I imagine It's been two years since one of them, my memory's not what it use to be , what is a plan B?
1864roverite Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Too many other issues to be concerned about. the game doesnt feature on my horizon. Enjoy the shopping capt mike !! 0-0 bore draw
Proudtobeblue&white Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I am missing this one, going shopping with the Missus in Clitheroe. What you doing after that 20 minutes? There's a beer festival on at the Waddington Arms.....one good turn deserves another!
Waggy76 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 Not bothering tomorrow ,a sign of the times in itself , things to do etc Hope we win but have a sneaking feeling for a 1-1 draw ! Like the previous poster hope Murphy is dropped ...
RibbleValleyRover Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 It won't be a dominant performance and Posh will have their chances but I am going for a 2-0 Rovers win. I think we will bounce back after a poor run of results.
Proudtobeblue&white Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 I'm turning up because I said I would - my expectations are very low.....we have fourth rate owners, with third rate administrators, a loss tomorrow is unacceptable. My heart is heavy (too much bitter), but I would like a happy 2-0...here's hoping?
Mike Graham Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 What you doing after that 20 minutes? There's a beer festival on at the Waddington Arms.....one good turn deserves another! Fantastic....off to the Waddy Arms we go!! Thanks!
Clitherover Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I am missing this one, going shopping with the Missus in Clitheroe. I hope you like charity shops.
gumboots Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 I hope you like charity shops. Well that's the same everywhere. However, I too wondered what on earth you could find to do shopping in Clitheroe for any length of time - and I live there and love the place. why can't wife go shopping there on her own or with a friend - I try hard not to take my husband who, even after 40 years of training, still looks like he'd rather be anywhere than looking round clothes shops with me.
Oklahoma Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Most likely team today: Kean Orr, Dann, Hanley, Rekik Bentley, Murphy, Lowe, Markus O. DJ Campbell, Rhodes. Likely result: 0-0. MA will be very pleased with 1 point...
