oldjamfan1 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 If Sunderland win this midweek and are safe it will really hurt SKY with pretty much everything done and dusted. The only thing they might have left is the 'race' for fourth place. Their last day drama might just be a damp squib. Yep. They would probably resort to magnifying the Ranieri guard of honour at Stamford Bridge. Terry being banned has also removed another possible angle for them on that one too.

Husky Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Aye, it's been awhile since there's been an anteater on my sofa, but what memories! Proper bitches aren't they. I had to buy @#/?-loads of these from the pound shop.
47er Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Congratulations to Big Sam. He has done it again. Not official yet of course but it will be. Stunning win.
Husky Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Haha. Spuds? Title contenders? In reality they were never in it. If it wasn't little Leicester City everyone would have been saying it was a one horse race.
Norbert Rassragr Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 West Ham fans have celebrated their last match at Upton Park by throwing bottles at Man Utd's bus. Kick off has been delayed.
Stuart Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Sullivan letting his emotion get the better of him. Blaming United for getting there late! Such a shame for the poor old West Ham fans who will have to miss the post-match entertainment because they'll have to catch their buses. Maybe the United team should walk home to enable their bus to be used to ferry the Hammers fans back to their homes. Well, once it's been repaired.
Husky Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 We made the play offs on more than one occasion, and we were an honest well run club I must have a decent memory as I always remember us 'being up there' in the late 80's.
arbitro Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 The inevitable end of game pitch invasion will have the security teams worried that there could be violence cowards the United players. I just get the feeling something is going to happen.
Husky Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Sullivan letting his emotion get the better of him. Blaming United for getting there late! But aren't those arrogant Man Ure @#/? supposed to be there at 4pm?
Norbert Rassragr Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Small club with big mouth fans. Poor man's Spurs.
rigger Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Small club with big mouth fans. Poor man's Spurs. I, wouldn't call them a small club, and their fans are as good and loyal as anybody's. It is/was an intimidating ground to go to.
ABBEY Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 utd fans are struggling to find a working stream tonight on windows
JHRover Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Never won the league = small club in my book. The number of fans you have is mainly to do with geographical location.
rigger Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Never won the league = small club in my book. The number of fans you have is mainly to do with geographical location. That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. I disagree.
Gav Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 west ham scum fans attack utd bus... I don't condone attacking the Utd bus, I just wish we had half the guile of the West Ham fans, these idiots in Pune would be long gone. 52,000 season tickets sold for next season, I wish we had those numbers also, well maybe not, 30,000 would be good.
A cup of beans Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 If anyone's been to Upton Park, Sullivan has a point. Caos and gridlock every time I've been. A club of Uniteds size shouldn't be late for two London games. Loudest ground I've been to (consistently). Sold more season tickets than Arsenal. West Ham fans I've met at games have been down to earth football lovers. Arsenal on other hand, even in Highbury days, condescending self righteous gobsh#tes.

I don't think the move to the Olympic Stadium will do anything to help the atmosphere despite a bigger crowd. In my experience grounds with running tracks are far less atmospheric than normal grounds where fans are close to the pitch.

Been to West Ham a few times, never been impressed with the atmosphere, their fans smashed the Boleyn pub up in the season we won the Premiership, never understood that one.

Must be a claret and blue thing, Darwen End bogs ?
jim mk2 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 30,000 Alf Garnetts all in one ground - drag it out into the English Channel and sink it (thanks to Alf for that one). Come on (Man) United.
