AllRoverAsia Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Thats an interesting phrase. Same as ''Not heard about him in Donkey's years''. Google it.
Baz Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Same as ''Not heard about him in Donkey's years''. Google it. I did, hence "interesting" rather than...well you can imagine.
USABlue Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Same as ''Not heard about him in Donkey's years''. Google it. Yup.
USABlue Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I did, hence "interesting" rather than...well you can imagine.Rather than what exactly. I thought you would like a bit of ol southern lingo. Oh you weren't focusing on the coon part were you. Suppose I should have taken the time to type 'coon. Anyway don' t you feel so much wiser now.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Roy Keane in the directors box tonight? Yes, and?
Mike Graham Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Roy Keane in the directors box tonight? I chatted to Roy a couple of years ago. Said lots of positive things about about Rovers but was v critical of the V's and the break up of the management team at Ewood (Williams, Finn etc).
Hasta Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I may live to regret this post but after that @#/? I'd swap him for Judan Ali
Leonard Venkhater Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Raccoon I hope. Yep. They are long lived apparently, hence the phrase!
Amo Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 JUDAN ALI! FABULOUS HE! ALI ABABWA GENUFLECT, SHOW SOME RESPECT DOWN ON ONE KNEE!
patrickvalery Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 The guardian's match report says the club is compiling a list of successors. Can't link because I'm on my phone and I'm dim. Dunno how true that is. But I'll bet my house that Holloway isn't on it.

Hasta Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 That guardian report stats area says no team had a shot on target. Did I imagine Spurrs header and Heskeys effort?
perthblue02 Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 That guardian report stats area says no team had a shot on target. Did I imagine Spurrs header and Heskeys effort? The stats on Radio Rovers said exactly the same

Dunno how true that is. But I'll bet my house that Holloway isn't on it. Holloway would jump at the chance to manage Rovers IMO. Didnt he want it after Kean went? Didnt he meet Shaw and Shebby for talks. Cant remember why he didnt get it. Sure someone who knows will post who knows.

Backroom DE. Posted August 28, 2015 Backroom Posted August 28, 2015 I seem to recollect somebody saying Holloway walked out of the interview because of something Shebby said. Entirely plausible.
Rover_Shaun Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Nobody has a scooby doo and Franky it doesn't matter
RevidgeBlue Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Holloway spent all night bulling up Rhodes and saying he would recommend anyone to sign him which I found extremely odd as I'm sure the other week someone linked to an article indicating he had the same jaundiced view on JR as Strachan.
bob fleming Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Nobody has a scooby doo and Franky it doesn't matter Of course it bloody matters Shaun. It all bloody matters. If you didn't care you wouldn't post on here. I wouldn't either. Shaw out. Isn't that obvious?
Rover_Shaun Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 Of course it bloody matters Shaun. It all bloody matters. If you didn't care you wouldn't post on here. I wouldn't either. Shaw out. Isn't that obvious? You're being general. I was aiming it specifically at the Olly/shebby/Shaw triangle. That's the past. What happens from now is what matter.
JHRover Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Holloway. Another lunatic to add to the asylum. In his last 4 jobs he has left 3 having been relegated or with the club well down the path towards relegation. Leicester, Palace, Millwall. The only real success on his cv has been Blackpool, who are really incomparable to any other professional football club in the way they do their business. Holloway has managed to build his entire managerial reputation around an 18 month spell at Blackpool rather than the other 15 years in his managerial career where he has been mediocre at best.
