Still,I'm intrigued as to who it could be. 

I'd suggest in the midfield and take one of the sideways backwards passing crabs out and put somebody in who might , and this will sound ridiculous, attack the other team by linking the midfield to the strikers and passing the ball forward. I was going to say maybe even beat a man with abit of skill, speed or trickery but that would be expecting to much from an attacking midfielder signed by coyliniho

Weird that Hendrie hasn't gone back to West Ham. We chose putting Lowe back there on Saturday rather than even have Hendrie on the bench. Maybe West Ham doesn't want him either? He's nowhere near PL level, let alone Championship level, anyway.

Bringing in an attacking midfielder sounds like a Jack Byrne-type again, except once he shows up Coyle realises he has no idea how to utilise a no. 10. Sounds like Senior continuing to put his stamp on things, which I trust slightly more than Coyle...

You cannot have somebody recruiting players that the manager hasn't selected and cannot utilise. It's a nonsense. Coyle selects players or Coyle has to be replaced and get someone else who does.

Coil has been trying to focus on defences for his entire managerial career and is miles away from organising one. And that is why I believe you will be watching League One football next season.

No chance tbh I'd trust Coyle before senior that's how bad it is

We'll stay up by winning games. Having a clueless manager filling the team with defenders won't stop us conceding goals Bigdog. The best way to defend is to have a balanced squad with players that can control possession and pose a threat throughout the 90 minutes. You know....... push the opposition back.

It sounds as though his current club are about to release him from his contract. If they do, he will become a free agent and therefore allowed to sign for us.

Sounds to me like another Mauro Formica situation developing. Argentinian, plays for Newell's Old Boys, clearly not identified by the manager, current club prepared to release him from his contract so he can come here on a 'free' transfer.

Another twist in the tale when you look at his Wikipedia page and he's down as having joined a Turkish club in January on loan.

Er, I think you'll find, should we sign him JH, that Owen will have been a long term admirer of Mugni's. A player he has kept tabs on for many years and just the sort of player we have been missing. Owen will be very very excited that he's coming here and will be keen to find out where he plays, if he's any strengths, can he kick a ball etc etc

Only 5 goals in 113 games for this "attacking midfielder" .. still ..probably more than Evans Lowe and Guthrie  put together
