Backroom DE. Posted December 9, 2022 Backroom Share Posted December 9, 2022 Wow. Brazil undone by their own complacency, thinking they'd won it after scoring. Horrific defending for Croatia's equaliser and you never want to go to the lottery of penalties. No dancing tonight.
Ianrally
Naymar no balls. What a wimp not taking an early penalty. Superstar my arse. Croatia are going to take some beating. Edited December 9, 2022 by Ianrally
frosty
Neymar not taking a penalty for Brazil in a WC knockout game is madness. Yes, presumably he was fifth, but always a good chance it doesn’t get that far - mad. Well done Croatia!
Mashed Potatoes
Based on what happened at West Ham our players could teach Brazil something about taking penalties.
Dreams of 1995
And everybody knew they were made to look good by South Korea This Croatia team have been fantastic for years now. They win big games
Popular Post Tyrone Shoelaces
I’ve seen some good midfield players in the my time but Modric is something else. He covered every blade of grass today.
Giant
A fantastic effort by Croatia. Well done! Brazil only played well in the first half against South Korea. Too many prima donnas.

I’ve got to say if we can’t win this I would not be disappointed if Croatia win, other than playing us in the final.

A completely different player, but never gives the ball away and is always available.

speeeeeeedie
I'm going to again repeat my claim that walking, shuffling, step-stepping, and duck strutting up to take a penalty is a good way to miss it.
AllRoverAsia
Those Brazilians are really top at crying.

Never gave up when his team mates cocked up the passes. The real heart beat of the team. Gav
The Brazilians over stepped the mark by carrying on, dancing and taking the piss against Korea. Well, you’re not dancing now. Come on England 🏴 Edited December 9, 2022 by Gav

Agreed. That’s a penalty. Didn’t even need to be in the corner. No pissing about. Beaten by power Edited December 9, 2022 by matt83

roversfan99
Croatia are fantastic in tournaments, you would imagine that it is the last tournament for a few including Perisic and definitely (and sadly) Modric but they have IMO the best midfield in the tournament. Good to see the underdog win and always nice to see Neymar in tears. His goal was special but he is as unlikeable a player as you could wish to see. jim mk2
Come on the Oranjes. Neymar and Messi going home on the same day would be something to celebrate
