Stage 2 or 3 of local media layering excuses for the owners failings

Are we a professional club or not?

Shouldn't go into such deals if the requirements are too difficult to cope with.

"The Club".

Could be Venky's could be Suhail, could be Waggott could be Broughton or a combination of any of above.

It's on the owners nobody else.

Do you honestly think GB is negotiating deals if he doesn't think the money will be forthcoming.?

Like the summer wasting his time pursuing players only for the owners to change what he can do.

It's on our shit owners again.

It is unfortunate that the Wharton transfer came so late. Clubs are usually more unwilling to part with players late in the window seeing as they themselves need to find a suitable replacement before the window shut.

...Unless Rovers are trying to buy players who are out of favour or not used (prospects)

What I've learned most this transfer window is how awful Sky Sports News is these days.

First time i've watched it in a few years. What on earth has happened?! No hanging outside of training grounds talking to people in their cars, no shouting fans behind the reporters, and no dildos on screen....well, except Jamie O'Hara.

And where the fuck is Harry Redknapp?

Having transfer deadlines is pointless in my opinion. If Jean-Marc Bosman was still active, he would've taken it to court 😉

They knew the Wharton money was coming.

Even before any bid was made or accepted for A Wharton we had JDT in the press weekly stating the club were working on signings.

If these are  the calibre of player we are signing after selling a player for £20 million id hate to have seen what was brought in if Wharton wasn't sold

From the BBC

Hull are now in advanced talks with Burnley over a loan deal for winger Anass Zaroury. The Tigers are having some window, having already brought in Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool and Abdulkadir Omur - better known as the 'Turkish Messi'.

Now that's what you do when you want to get promotion

It's the sort of thing we should have done last season to get us over the line.

What a shitty job. No one likes doing a bunch of work for nothing.

Give over with that nonsense - everybody knows the project is to stay in this division, whatever the cost.

Wonder what happened to Ethan Brierley since the shambles with him (often forgotten about amongst the O'Brien mess).

He's a year older than Adam Wharton, doesn't look to have gone on loan at all from Brentford.

He’s a regular on their bench. Idon’tthink he’s had much game time though.
