Andy Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago What's a 'barm cake' and why would you want to eat chips with any kind of cake? But yes, the John Bulls from Hollytree are ace. Manxman chippy used to do a good one, many years ago - I think Hollytree is the only place you can get one now. Quote

Gav Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Just going back on topic, I’m surprised nobody has had a pop at the morons who sit openly in JW Stand. Fans are allowed to voice opinions and berating the stooges for 90mins seems like a good use of time to me. I don’t condone violence of course, but calling them a bunch of: ******* ****** **** for 90 mins is all in the game for me. Direct action required. Quote

Probably call it a fish supper/dinner or some such nonsense as well. Nothing wrong with having chips for us tea. I seem to be becoming 'Victor Meldrew' on this topic 🤔 Having said all this, the whole 'John Bull' thing was a complete mystery to me! Be careful “for us tea” and things like “catch us bus” is dingle talk Quote

What the fuck is that all about? That's venky levels of business sense. Quote
