Andy Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago What's a 'barm cake' and why would you want to eat chips with any kind of cake? But yes, the John Bulls from Hollytree are ace. Manxman chippy used to do a good one, many years ago - I think Hollytree is the only place you can get one now. Quote

Gav Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Just going back on topic, I’m surprised nobody has had a pop at the morons who sit openly in JW Stand. Fans are allowed to voice opinions and berating the stooges for 90mins seems like a good use of time to me. I don’t condone violence of course, but calling them a bunch of: ******* ****** **** for 90 mins is all in the game for me. Direct action required. Quote

Probably call it a fish supper/dinner or some such nonsense as well. Nothing wrong with having chips for us tea. I seem to be becoming 'Victor Meldrew' on this topic 🤔 Having said all this, the whole 'John Bull' thing was a complete mystery to me! Be careful “for us tea” and things like “catch us bus” is dingle talk Quote
